If you're after a tennis fix with Move and can't hold out for Virtua Tennis 4, this $30 title is a lot of fun and has high production qualities. A word of warning though: The game runs in 1080p at 60fps, but there's noticeable screen tearing.
  2. This Wii-retread gets a second life courtesy of the Move controls and the results are passable yet ultimately forgettable. [Nov 2010, p.72]
  3. While the different games offer some variety, there's simply not enough to differentiate between them.
  4. Racket Sports is a game to play with friends, but its Imprecise motion controls aren't so good.
  5. Racquet Sports attempts to introduce fans of table tennis and badminton to the Move, but falls short by providing less than appealing gameplay. The graphics are better than you'd expect from a Wii game, but this is on the PS3, after all.

A collection of five tennis games combined in one game for the PlayStation Move. The game can be fun, but it gets repetitive pretty fast and that's a shame. Graphically the game is poor and the audio is pretty bad. It could have been a lot better. The price is pretty low though.

A game devoid of skill and any real fun, despite the relatively pleasing aesthetics of the characters and surroundings.

Must be some kind of sad joke to sell Racket Sports for full price – wait for the price to drop at least 50 % then you can give it a try. Still it's totally a miss-able "sports" piece. [Issue#197]

If you really, really want to play tennis with your Move controller, Racket Sports works well enough to fulfill that function. But think carefully about whether that experience is worth £25 (it isn't).
  10. It's seriously lacking content and of those included only two of the sports are worth bothering with for more than one match.
  11. Lack of precision, lack of punch, lack of sensations… Whatever sport you're choosing, the game hardly manages to transcribe the movements made with the PS Move.
  12. Imprecise motion controls ruin all five of the sports featured in this disappointing collection.
  13. Maybe Ubisoft has hurried up to have it ready for PlayStation Move launch, and it has resulted in a below-avarage control, missing the opportunity to give players a lesson of tennis, badminton and the rest of the sports included in the game. What a pity.

Racquet Sports is pretty much unforgivable tripe. It's boring, bland, and doesn't actually work properly. [Issue#198, p.96]
  15. 35
Racket Sports could have been fun and sounds good in theory... but ultimately fails to hold any interest and is a bad example of Move technology.
  16. It's certainly not the experience that someone would buy a PlayStation Move for.
  17. Avoid like you would a family holiday to Nudefest 2010. [Issue#51, p.110]

Simply put, this game is not worth your money.
