    Rango deserved an A but on the other hand, at only four hours it is a far cry from acceptable for a game that is $50.

    Rango is a worthwhile experience for everyone who loved the movie. The length is sufficient, the presentation, gameplay, and atmosphere is all quite good, and the lighthearted style remains entertaining throughout.

    Delivering its own story, within the original world of the movie, Rango mixes platforming, racing, and action. Rather nice looking and easy to play, the EA game clearly lacks substance, and provides less than 4 hours of gameplay. Hours during which one will easily get bored. It's a game that will probably be best suited for the really young, or really casual.

    This is, hands down, my favourite game starring a chameleon in a cowboy outfit of the year. Perhaps even the decade. Actually, as platformers based on kids' films go, this isn't half bad - I mean, it's got Johnny Depp's actual voice! It's stolen a lot of stuff from other games, but crucially it's stolen the right stuff, like shiny thing collecting and rail grinding from Ratchet & Clank. There's shooting rodents, jumping, climbing, and firing bullets at targets in slo-mo. Plus it has tiny owls! With instruments! Wearing sombreros! Unlikely to worry any of the triple-A titles, but if you see it in the bargain bin or have sired offspring in the last 15 years, this isn't the worst use of your cash.… Expand

    i have not played this game nor do i intend to because i have seen the movie and that is enough to know that it is an awsome movie but a terrible idea for a game. DO NOT buy this game it is a waste of money because games based on movies always suck try and find 1 game based on a movie that got a decent score and leave this game on the rack in whatever store sells this discrace of 50$… Expand
