Everything you loved about Ratchet & Clank (except for Mikey Kelley) returns in this stunning sequel to the original. Ratchet 2's strength lies in its absolutely fantastic gunplay, a dramatic improvement over the sloppy mess of it's predecessor, and the game is not afraid to flaunt it with numerous arenas to test out your skills. Ratchet 2's strength lies in its absolutely fantastic gunplay, a dramatic improvement over the sloppy mess of it's predecessor, and the game is not afraid to flaunt it with numerous arenas to test out your skills. Ratchet 2's difficulty is exceptionally well tuned, offering challenge to even the most seasoned players without being too difficult or even impossible. Ratchet 2's issues lie in it's minigames, of which there are many, and unfortunately, very few of them play well. The spaceship controls are slack, the hoverbikes steer like barges and the infiltrator can prove to be more tedious than anything. The HD version of Ratchet 2 is very slick indeed, shedding most of the previous games issues and glitches, and overall being a very good port of the fantastic title from the PS2. The plot will keep you guessing until the very end, and the answer to your questions may come as a surprise. A very strong and competent title, worthy of much praise. Final Score: 8.3/10 Expand
