This is a must have for anyone who owns Red Dead Redemption. In case you are wondering, yes it is worth it even if you don't play multiplayer.

Offering a new element to Red Dead Redemption, one of this year's best titles, Undead Nightmare refreshes everyone's mind on the title right during award season.

Undead Nightmare is an awesome variant of the main story of Red Dead Redemption, that comes for a very cheap price (considering what it has to offer). The single player experience is long and well done, but the real surprise is the new multiplayer mode. The Horde is the most intense and funny multiplayer mode in this game. No doubts about it.

Very extensive add-on for the western game, with an enjoyable new scenario, new items and an unbeatable sense of humour. But in comparison to the original game, the story is too simple and the controls in melee combat are annoying.

Undead Nightmare is a fairly lengthy DLC pack with a bunch of new features. The story is straightforward and there are not a lot of mission types but the Stranger quests, new weapons, new mounts, and the challenges all add much needed variety. The multiplayer additions are nothing too special but they are appreciated and add a few more hours of fun to the whole experience.

For Wild West virgins, it's an entertaining package, if just shy of an essential purchase. [Jan 2011, p.96]

Even though this new story could have been a little more varied in its missions, one can only salute, once again, the talent of the studio. Marvelously implemented, and surprisingly adequate when combined with the western theme, this interpretation of the classic zombie myth is both comprehensive and efficient. The gameplay is profoundly (and interestingly) changed, and as usual with Rockstar, the value for price factor remains its strongest selling point.

The challenge of shooting every undead in the head is exhilarating. While the save system has changed, eliminating fast travel from your campsite, it makes sense in this alternate world where zombies roam the country side. I recommend completing the main campaign, not just to get all the little inside jokes, but to sharpen your gaming skills because they will be tested. Expand

Talk about getting every bang for you buck, this is true when it comes to playing undead nightmare. The campaign is 6 hours long that's like a full game when compared to ripped off games like call of duty black ops and modern warfare 2. Not to mention that this expansion only cost $9.99 that's a steal!!! This game is fantastic and recommend for any zombie lover. You will not be disappointed with this. Expand

It is a little unforgiving in that you have to headshot EVERYONE or wast a lot of ammo taking them down with body shots. That's fine and all, but could be a bit better explained. Also, there is little preamble to the zombies, so you are not certain what to do for a little bit.

I finished it in 2 short evenings, and actually thought the end was a halfway point until nothing else happened. Red dead redemption was a Legend. This game was a profanity. They should never have boxed this game. It only tarnishes the memory of the original. Expand
