Resident evil on rails might sound strange, but it delivers. A lot!

After playing it on wii since release, both titles have really improved. I can never go back to the wii after seeing how much better the graphics look. The Wii version has jagged and blurred graphics. This one is crystal clear. If i did not know better id say this should of released on PS3 instead of wii hands down. Awesome game on both platforms, but PS3 version is much better.

For a resident evil fan this collection was very nice. RE Chronicles works very well on MOVE and its fun to play. There is epic RE moments. One of the bad things in this game is shaking screen in gameplay which makes it difficult to aim. Collection includes 2 games: Umbrella Chronicles and Darkside Chronicles. The darkside chronicles is better in my opinion.

For the hardcore Resident Evil Fan to a person wanting to catch up the Resident Evil Chronicle Collection contains events taking place from Zero to Three in The Umbrella Chronicles and Resident Evil 2, Code Veronica and a stand alone tale that explains Krauser and Leons Relationship which was only hinted at in Resident Evil 4.

The games have being given a great makeover compared to
their early Wii counterparts and would be the best of Capcom's HD collections so far with little to no graphical glitches. Move Controls and a Nav pad offer the best experience but one can use a controller if necessary. The lifespan of each game is 7/8 hours but each chapter contains a separate tale involving a different character as well as hidden files in the environment usually unlocked by blasting objects in the environment. My main gripe however is the camera in the Darkside chronicles which adds a bit of drama to the game can hinder in certain situations and the lack of a Platinum is a minor irk as well but by no means a deal breaker. All in all if you want to catch up with Chris and Leon before Resident Evil 6 or fancy a good blast em up light gun game than this is a essential purchase. Expand

Brilliant... Fun 2-player action with decent graphics, excellent cutscenes, and responsive controls. Don't need Move controllers, but hightly recommended. Never played the original games-- only had holes filled in by Operation Racoon City, RE4, and RE5-- so these are a neat way to experience the original storylines. Tons of collectibles to find and well as lots of weapons upgrades.

If you are an RE fan and haven't played the Wii version of the games before, I suggest you buy it now.
  2. Despite Capcom's bandaging these games do show their age. Luckily the gameplay is truly timeless. These rail shooters are inspired by The House of the Dead, an arcade classic which was also remade recently for the PlayStation Move. [September 2012, p.84]

If you're a fan of Resident Evil or rail-shooters and you own a Move controller then Resident Evil Chronicles HD Collection is a no brainer.
