I loved Rocket Knight Adventures and it's two sequels on the Genesis and SNES. I was sad that there wasn't any sequels. This was around the end of 2009 and shortly after New Year's day, I heard rumors that a new Rocket Knight game was in the works. The graphics are BEAUTIFUL, the soundtrack is a bunch of orchestral remixes of past Rocket Knight tracks (which is a plus in my book), and it plays like a dream. But it doesn't really add on to the established Rocket Knight formula. I HIGHLY recommend you check this out, as it's also avalible on XBLA and Steam. It is an almost perfect game! Expand

  1. An inoffensive 2D platformer with some novel ideas - but fairly vapid and overly expensive.
  2. It may only be a two-hour game, but the difficulty is perfect, and it offers plenty of incentive for completionists.
  3. It's hard to know how many people are really going to care about the return of Rocket Knight. Climax has done a decent job of giving it a modern sheen, but while it's mildly entertaining and completely inoffensive, it's also forgettable.
