  1. The default end-to-end camera is still a massive pain when it switches for an intercept. Players, most notably the FRF and 2RF, love to drift out of position and hang out on the wings. Also, while expanded controls are welcomed, the game mishandles them – you'll punch walls when any tackle before an intercept gets interpreted as a grubber kick after you gain possession. Rugby League Live 2 is enjoyable, really, but only when it's behaving.

When it's working properly, it's a solid 5. Just an average game that is fun and functional, but when it screws up, and it happens often, it sinks to a 3 or lower REAL fast. Intercepts are way too common, A.I teammates are dumb, A.I opponents are geniuses by comparison and referees are **** wait, that's similar to real life. Carry on... Full Review »

A decent sports title obviously lacking a big budget.Opponent A.I isn't terrible, but your own team mates are infuriating most of the time. They consistently over-run the ball, especially receiving the kick-off and from the play the ball.Dummy half runs are pointless and with no quick play the ball, you're forced to use the cut-out pass option every time.Turnovers can be frustrating as well, and unless you're super quick or lucky, you'll just kick the ball away each time. When this game works,it's great fun,but unless you're a true fan,I'd recommend staying away.Since I'm a bit footy mad,I'm adding a couple points to an essentially good game that lacked the funds to truly make it shine.Up the Rabbitohs!
