  • Summary: Stuntman: Ignition is the next installment in the Stuntman franchise. The game plunges gamers into the adrenaline-fueled role of a Hollywood stunt driver, challenging them to pull off the most breathtaking, death-defying stunts ever filmed. Players showcase their skills in a wide variety of big-budget action films, commercial shoots and tournaments while commanding more than 25 unique vehicles, including exotic sports cars, motorcycles and hovercraft. Online multiplayer allows rival stuntmen to battle it out on the film sets and custom built back-lot arenas, or players can devise their own insane stunt runs and challenge other stuntmen at their own game. 1. It's been a long time since I've had as much fun playing a videogame as I've had playing Stuntman: Ignition. It's furiously fast, awesomely addictive and gives rise to some fantastic multiplayer grudges! Ignition could well become to driving games what Bullit's chase scene is to driving films.
  2. This game earns its stripes by letting players have more of a hand in creating their own style of mayhem to spice up a scene, and trust me, you’ll take every opportunity you can get.

    An incredibly satisfying challenge...However, it's not for the faint-hearted. [Issue#157, p.76]
  4. Great, awful, exhilarating and painful, all in one. You'll weep with joy, or just plain weep. [Oct 2007, p.74]
  5. If the heavy focus on trial and error doesn't rattle you, Stuntman: Ignition can be some explosive fun.
  6. The overall experience may be a little on the bitty side, but Stuntman Ignition still delivers a bracingly unique driving game. [Oct 2007, p.96]
  7. All too often you’re baffled as to how your slick 180° spin failed to satisfy the marking criteria, only to pass on the next attempt with a clunking three-point turn. [Oct 2007, p.94]

An extremely addictive game and a huge improvement over the original Stuntman.

I was quite the fan of the first Stuntman on the PS2; this addition to the series wqas definitely a step in a fun direction. It's kind of like a hybrid of the first Stuntman and a Burnout style game...Very entertaining, although you do have to be ready to repeat the same things over and over Expand

Average game. A bit of fun if you can get this game cheap. It's not bad and it's not really good. Like I say it's a bit of fun but does get a bit same old, turn this corner, do this etc. Expand
