A quacktacular giggle from start to finish combined with surprisingly valid puzzles make for what is being touted as the best game ever made by many in the office. [Issue #151, p.67]
A brilliant nugget of arcade puzzle gaming that is hard to put down and well worth its budget price. However, it is a little lacking in substance and, despite its next-gen gloss, feels a lot like a homebrewed internet shareware title.

This game is good even Khalil agrees and he hates most games!A quacktacular giggle from start to finish combined with surprisingly valid puzzles make for what is being touted as the best game ever made by many in the office

If you are getting tired of playing with your rubber duck in the bathtub, then pick up this little game! The SIXAXIS-system on the controller is being used very well and makes for a welcome change from all those button bashing games. They should have used this feature more often! Fun for young and old, at least for a short time.

Although the depth of the gameplay is barely knee-deep making Super Rub-a-dub not quite the splashing debut as was hoped, it’s still rollicking, simple fun while it lasts and quite possibly the best way to play with vinyl-plastic rubber ducks without getting yourself soaking wet.
As a demo of what can be done with the Sixaxis it shines, but as a game you'll come back to time and time again? You must be quackers. [May 2007, p.66]
It is just unfortunate that SCEE have not built upon a unique puzzle opportunity, instead content to ship out something that will long term only appeal to the youngest of players.
More refined controls would have made Super Rub a Dub less frustrating, but that wouldn't be enough to make it worthwhile.
Dull and monotonous with little interactivity, the game is almost completely devoid of fun because of poor design choices and the worst example of Sixaxis support we've seen yet.
Everyone has a valid opinion, but I wonder if the reviewers that gave this a negative score missed the point a bit. It's not so much a game as a time passer, and in that regard it's great fun. The controls are responsive, the graphics and sound OK, and it's very simple to get to grips with. Plus it's only a couple of quid - stop moaning and lighten up!
