  • Summary: [Downloadable Game] The beauty of TEKKEN is re-created at 1080p and optimized for the HD era, delivering one of the most realistic graphics on the PS3 platform. Play as one of over 30 characters, including classics Jin, Heihachi, Paul, Law and more. New to Dark Resurrection, play as Jinpachi and take the final boss against all the other characters. Use your fight money to customize your characters. With more than double the items seen in TEKKEN 5, the sky's the limit on the unique look your character will have. [Namco Bandai Games] Expand

  1. With a huge 36 characters to choose from and 15+ levels to duel upon, Tekken 5: Dark Resurrection features more than enough for fighting game enthusiasts.

There's no sense in mincing words: Tekken 5 doesn't come close to capturing the full graphical potential of the PlayStation 3. In fact, as far as next-gen brawlers go, it's a bit on the homely side.
  3. The depth and variety on offer in this deluxe editon of Tekken 5 is superb. [May 2007, p.76]
  4. Tekken V: Dark Resurrection is still fun to play and it's much better than most of the competition. It's just a bit of a letdown because it feels to me that the developers missed a chance to fully take advantage on the PS3's capabilities.

Solid game, HD graphics are great. This game will keep me busy while Soul Calibur IV comes out.

Cheap and nice game, there is not a online mode, only arcade mode and the ghost battle (the arcade game without end, u play until get bored), not the best in the series. Expand

Definately not on of the best in the series. Compared to VF, the moves and graphics suffer, and the game hasn't really moved into the HD era just yet. Although you're running at 1080p, you still see some rough edges which you don't expect, and realise this is just a rush job to cash in on the public's demand for new ps3 content. I'll wait for Tekken 6. Expand
