I'm close to tossing this game. Every GD time I get into a battle my weapon disappears and while I'm farting around trying to recover it, I get iced. WTF?????????????

EA has done a great job of expanding nearly every facet of the game, and even though only a few of these additions change the game in major ways, the overall package is a good deal better. Still, with last-gen visuals, a frustrating city layout and other issues that plagued the original release, it's still far from perfect.
  2. Even if you already own the game on your PS2, you may want to give it a second try. There is a lot more content here so the game will feel fresh. If you're a fan of the original game and are looking to keep the good times rolling or if you haven't played The Godfather before, The Don's Edition is solid. However, it may not be worth your $59.99, as the graphics are wholly unimproved.

The best news to come out of all of this is the implementation of the Sixaxis: It's not overbearing or intrusive. For example, it only takes a few small gestures to bump someone against the wall. And that's about as extreme as it gets -- which is the proper way to handle the controls.
