If you have a passion for golf and want the best representation of what the video game world has to offer, this is it. Tiger Woods PGA Tour 12: The Masters is golfing's greatest video game masterpiece.

Simply put, this is one of the best golf games ever made, and there's absolutely no reason to pass it up.

I enjoyed using Move, for swinging, but not much else. Navigating through the game's menus, especially when spending hard won experience points for attribute boosts, required not just the Move's navigation controller but a "normal" controller lest I experience a level of frustration no caddie could talk me down from.

There's something for everyone with Tiger Woods PGA Tour 12. Now is the perfect time to jump into one of the best series out there as it's never been more accessible. PS Move owners, even non-golf fans, should give it a second look as well.

Unequivocally the best Tiger Woods game in years. The sheer volume of great content on display here will keep gamers busy for months, and the fantastic Move support is sure to be a hit.

Coming up with the best golf game took a while, but EA Tiburon's Tiger Woods PGA Tour 12 is undoubtedly the pinnacle of the series. With a new caddie system, a revamped career mode, and the superb Augusta course, 'The Masters' is masterful on many levels.

Through the years the Tiger franchise has layered on more realistic tour touches like the FedEx championship, the Masters, or the U.S. Open. This year EA's lined things up and knocked the ball down the fairway straight and true.

This new Tiger Woods game has finally The Masters tournament included. The gameplay is as usual fantastic and the small improvements are making the game better than last year. This is one of the best golf games you can get this year.

Strives to replicate the Masters, and it succeeds on an impressive level. It's got the sort of variety that'll keep you playing for a good long time, and its treatment of the Masters is slick and educational, doing honor to the venerable tournament.

Tiger Woods PGA Tour 12: The Masters is really not that much different from years past but the additions this year really have you thinking, "What else can they really do to make this game any better?" I love the new caddie system and how he has your name on his back. The Move is a great switch up and will really test how good you are at swinging a virtual club rather than flicking a stick. The fact that everything leads up to the most revered tournament in golf history definitely brings you back to finish round after round with anticipation.

In the end, Tiger Woods PGA Tour 12: The Masters is not only a good looking game but supports a very entertaining control system via the PlayStation Move. It's definitely going to be hard for EA to beat this game next year due to the streamlined gameplay.

Tiger Woods PGA Tour 12 provides features that won't be for everyone but is ultimately an enjoyable experience. If you haven't experienced the Tiger Woods franchise in a while, this is a great year to come back.
  14. The way the series approaches DLC will continue to divide; Tiger Woods 12 features 16 courses on the disc but a further 20 are already available as DLC... The game needs a course creator; it's a feature PC golf games had last century. [June 2011 p.78]

You'll spend tons of time attempting to beat the online GamerNet challenges, and pushing yourself closer to The Masters in career mode. The only annoying part of this game is its DLC course selection.

This time, golfing with EA is not only for old fans. If you've never played the series before but wants to start a digital golf pro career, then this is the right time to jump in. All in all a really good golf game for everyone.
  18. PGA Tour 12 doesn't refine the golf experience, but its streamlined approach makes it simpler to enjoy a round on the links. [May 2011, p.86]

The Tiger Woods franchise has seen a lot of changes over the last few years and the improved Career mode, along with the inclusion of The Masters, are welcomed additions.

The introduction of Move controllers should have been the best that has happened to this series, however I guess that we have to wait for PGA Tour 13 until it is perfected. It's still the best golf game out there to this date.

A must-have for golf fans, but it will be too of a simulation for novice players, as it doesn't include a comprehensive tutorial for those who have no experience in previous games.

Tiger Woods PGA Tour 12: The Masters is fresh in several ways. The caddy offers deeper gameplay, while the road to the US Masters is an interessting career mode. All in all a great golf game, with your cast as the star of the show.

The addition of The Masters continues to push the Tiger Woods franchise forward. Although there were no major changes to the gameplay this remains to be an amazing game of golf.

This new chapter of the PGA Tour adds a new Career mode with a final boss, The Masters, and a new (and welcome) caddie system to the original formula.

EA Sports has given the US Masters its warmest possible welcome to video games with Tiger Woods 12 – doing justice to Augusta National can't have been easy, but the developers at Tiburon have pulled it off with great aplomb.

PGA 12 features the same kind of gradual evolution found in all EA Sports titles. The big-name improvements, such as Move support and the Masters content are welcome, and will no doubt inspire many to part company with the funds required to participate.

Tiger Woods 12 is another excellent golf sim, in large part thanks to the addition of the Masters at Augusta.

What you end up with is a precise golf simulator full of features, but lacking emotion. If you're looking for a golf game to get your hands on, then this is a safe bet, but if you're just stopping by to see if Tiger Woods has anything special in store to drive you to pick up a club and play, then you'll just have to wait another year.

Stepping onto the greens at Augusta National for the first time was nerve-wracking, but I did it. I walked away a winner in stylish bravado, the green cloth of victory a sign to all that I came and conquered.

I prefer the PS3 version because of it's balance between the motion controls online play. If it featured disc golf like the Wii version it'd be the premiere version of the game.

Although Tiger Woods is the golfer whom it is all about, the attention sort of slides from his lap onto the Master-tournament. This turns Tiger words PGA Tour 12: The Masters into an authentic and fresh golfing experience. It's just such a shame that Electronic Arts chose to keep all downloadable content and online functionalities tightly under their own care.

Irritating load times and too much content hidden in DLC, but other than that another great game of golf.

Tiger Woods PGA Tour 12: The Masters doesn't do anything wrong but doesn't have enough daring innovative features to make much of a difference. It's by far the best golfing sim out there, but it doesn't manage to warm our hearts.

EA just love to tinker - don't they understand 'if it aint broke then don't fix it!'

Online is so uninspiring and boring. What happened to the 10 second timer? What happened to the online points awarded/deducted for wins/losses? What happened to penalising players who quit?

Bring back Tiger Woods 10 (unfortunately, online services for TW10 was terminated and shutdown on 11 August 2011).

Luckily, I managed to play/trial this version for a month (activating and using the one-off one-time online access code which is another annoying feature rendering the game worthless to anyone else) before returning the game for a full money-back refund.

My advice to lovers of Tiger Woods series (TW10 and previous releases) is like Tiger Woods and his professional career/ranking, this game is rapidly going one way - that is down and further down!
