TV Superstars is a pretty funny game to play. You start as a nobody in the world of television stars and you have to work yourself up to be a star. You will play five different funny PlayStation Move games and there's a lot of variety. Not the best game, but the humor and fun is great.

Although we would have liked to see more minigames, it is a title with its own personality which will engage those looking to pass a good time with their friends.
  3. You'll loathe yourself for enjoying it. [Christmas 2010]

    Fun for a while. [Christmas 2010, p.88]

TV Superstars definitely has its moments. As a party game, there are some really fun competitions that can be had by you and your friends. The only thing that really hampers the experience is the number of scenes that must be skipped before the fun begins, not to mention, the long load times in between.

Not everyone will enjoy their 15 minutes of fame in this entertaining but superficial minigame collection.

Families will get their share of enjoyment out of this, but there's not enough to the experience to recommend if for solo players looking for a meaty game. Play in a group, and you'll have some fun.

TV Superstars is a funny collection of minigames, with a good multiplayer but some control issues.

TV Superstars is a fun game to play with friends during a relaxing weekend. But it just isn't worth buying, because the price is to high for the amount of content you get.

The set-up is interesting, but the execution isn't nippy enough for a mini-game collection. More creativity has gone into this than a lot of other generic Move titles, but chances are you'll get bored before you've seen all the game has to offer.

There simply isn't much meat on this bone.

It's fun for a while, but next to some of the Wii's finest mini-game compilations, it falls short. [Jan 2011, p.97]

TV Superstars simply does not have the same class as other party games to truly stand out. [Issue#199, p.94]

In TV Superstars you are the star - or trying to anyway. By scanning your face and solve a series of mini games, you will try to become a celebrity. The game's gimmick works very well, but the mini-games leave a lot to be desired.

TV Superstars is a deeply cynical product that manages to bring together the worst of modern culture with the most vapid shovelware the Wii has suffered. [Christmas 2010, p.112]

It's like watching TV - there are programs that you like more, others less they like. This has much to dislike.

The mini-games do work, and if your idea of a good time is indeed struggling to put on clown make-up on or saw a virtual plank in half you might enjoy them. But I have no idea who you are.

Good value to be had when played with family and friends. Lots of fun with 2 or more people. Don't let the low score reflected here influence your purchase. If you have the hardware, rent it and see how you like it. Full Review »
  2. This game is surprisingly fun to play with friends! We had hours of fun creating characters with pictures of famous people... I especially like how the whole game feels like a television network and not just a collection of mini-games. If you are looking for something different, then this game is definitely worth a try.
