  1. An expertly refined, craftily created fighting game which builds on an already outstanding base to deliver an all-around outstanding experience.
  2. 100
This is easily one of the finest sport recreations we've seen, as it nails the experience. The online fight camps and Create-a-Fighter modes will keep you busy well through the next several pay-per-view events, and the presentation is second-to-none.
  3. This is as close to perfect as any game.
  4. Is 2010 about the show or the sport? It is, like the UFC itself, ready to be both. This confidence is what makes it such a complete and compelling package – a great MMA sim, a near flawless UFC sim. In a year, it’s made the kind of studious jump that took FIFA almost ten.
  5. A great game that's better than its 2009 edition in all areas.
  6. 2010 is a fantastic title, with improvements in every area that needed it. While there are still flaws in a few areas that should be cleaned up for next year, there’s no denying that it’s simply a much better product.
  7. The combat in this game may have achieved a perfect balance of what is possible when two un-armed humans engage in combat. Throw in an addicting career mode and you have a new standard in fighting games.
  8. The many improvements made by Yuke’s make this the smoothest-playing MMA game yet, and its robust amount of features and modes will keep players entertained for months.
  9. EA Sports MMA is going to have a lot to live up to when it launches as UFC Undisputed 2010 raises the bar for virtual Mixed Martial Arts. Is it perfect? No, not at all. But, if you put this side-by-side with its predecessor, the differences are like night and day. You could almost go so far as to say that Undisputed 2009 was the trial run and this is the real game.
  10. ‘UFC 2010 Undisputed’ improves on an already impressive 2009 offering thorough additional fighting styles, an online camp mode, and updated gameplay and presentation.
  11. UFC 2010 is an absolute knockout of a game and despite a few minor disappointments, I can wholeheartedly recommend it to pretty much anyone that's even remotely interested.
  12. Not only is UFC Undisputed 2010 the best MMA video game made to date, it’s also the most fun fighting game I’ve ever played.
  13. 92
The sweeping changes to the games career mode, the effort put in to increasing the quality of the presentation, and the incredible in ring action add a lot to an already great experience. With such a great foundation, UFC Undisputed has established itself as the clear frontrunner in the genre.
  14. THQ has set the bar incredibly high for EA's upcoming MMA game. UFC Undisputed 2010 is probably the best fighting game ever made. The massive improvement over last year’s game is a testament to the hard work and dedication of the Yukes development team.
  15. THQ has improved the previous game in every way, achieving a game not just for UFC fans, but one that will surprise everyone for its quality as a fighting game.
  16. UFC Undisputed 2010 is a great improvement compared to the 2009 installment. The balance between the fighters is much better, it looks better and the waiting times between the fights have been greatly reduced.
  17. If you liked last year's UFC title, then you will definitely love this year's.
  18. However, given the choice, the sheer fun factor, in depth career mode, excellent online support (that requires a fee if purchased used), and stellar presentation make this the penultimate MMA video game experience, and a must have for any UFC or fighting game aficionados out there.
  19. If you want to experience the toughest league in the world, we can only recommend UFC Undisputed 2010. Great atmosphere, 100+ fighters and a stunning editor work together for this masterpiece.
  20. UFC 2010 Undisputed confirmed that this franchise is the best of the mixed martial arts simulation genre. With in depth fighting system that rewards practice, addictive and lengthy career mode, UFC Undisputed 2010 is a must-have for MMA fans especially for the new additions to this year's version have been made exclusively to the hardcore gamers.
  21. UFC 2010 Undisputed is easily one of the world's most realistic fighting games that offers great replay value, sturdy combat engine and an overall entertaining experience that is oozing with UFC references from start to finish!
  22. 100
Undisputed 2010 builds on the foundation of last year's game, tweaking it where it needed to be and adding other modes and events that re-create the UFC experience to a T. EA has its work cut out for it, because right now there is no better MMA game.
  23. The Sway system changes everything. Risk versus reward, knock out or be knocked out. Superb. [July 2010, p.110]
  24. This is as close as you'll get to UFC without sharing Shane Carwin's post-fight ice bath, and that's where we draw the line anyway. Buy it. [June 2010, p.99]
  25. The borders of authenticity and brutal fun have been moved again. This fight simulation offers enough challenge and motivation to replace its predecessor. [July 2010]
  26. That being said though, THQ is to be commended for producing such a great game that manages to improve on the original, and anyone who is slightly interested in the world of MMA should give it a try.
  27. 88
If you didn't pick up the last one or are a big UFC fan then it's still absolutely worth your time and money. [Issue#193, p.86]
  28. Excellent sports simulation including a lot of new striking and submission moves. The deeper career mode adds more realism when developing your fighting alter ego. Choose your favorite fighter out of over 100 UFC stars and battle your friends online as well.

I bought Ufc 2010 Undisputed the day it came out, mainly for the multiplayer. At first, I would have rated it a 9. But, after Giving the game some time, and plenty of chances, my final decision to give it a 3 was based on the online play. The connectivity to the servers blows. It takes 10-15 mins. to connect to a fight, LAGGY Online, and most the time if you find a good fight, it usually says the opponent has left early. After tons of messages asking why they quit, the most common answer i got back was "I didn't quit, you did.". That gets very frustrating, considering that I have never voluntary left a match and my DNF(Did not finish) rate is around 50%. I prided myself in 2009 with having a DNF rate of 0%. I don't understand how a game like Mag can fit 100+ in one game without lag, And (Super)Street Fighter 4 Pulls it off with 2 people just fine. One thing is for sure, I WILL be trying EA MMA, and WILL NOT buy another Ufc until the online runs SMOOTHLY. Full Review »

Can't play this game because of the broken online. Even if I do get a match it's littered with exploits..Undisputed 2009 was much much better, and now EA MMA takes the throne. Full Review »

This game is really fun at first, then even more fun after you learn the ground/grapple game. However after you get to a certain point of experience or skill you can easily exploit the game. What I mean by this is you can constantly sit on your opponent and do reversals to gain advantageous positions and knock them out very easy. There are plenty of other exploits in the game besides that example. The campaign will keep you busy for a few hours, if your really bored. Otherwise it's really bad, and it tries to throw in some depth but fails. The online is probably the worst feature to this game. It's over-run by peoples "x-men" custom fighters that are impossible to defeat, noobs that play brock lesnar and throw constant elbows until your knocked out, or people who just simply exploit the game. Not to mention its nearly impossible to connect to anyone. If you defeat the odds in finding someone to play with, and are able to connect to them, the terribad frame rate ruins the experience. The only thing I enjoy about this game is you can play as your favorite UFC fighter. Full Review »
