Good game, uncharted 1.75, overshadowed by the masterpiece that was uncharted 2. Good - better melee system, beautiful graphics, Bad - average storyline as apposed to uc 2 which had twists and was much more humorous.
Ugly - you have to shoot enemies many times before they are killed.

I am a huge fan of Uncharted 2: Among Thieves and it absolutely blew my mind when I played it. The characters were great and the pacing of the single-player was perfect. The co-op and multiplayer efforts were great too and I enjoyed playing them with my friends. Two years after its release, Naughty Dog release a sequel, Uncharted 3. Of course, I was pumped and of course, the game is superb. The single-player, co-op and multiplayer are all top-notch and head and shoulders above their competition and anybody looking to buy this game because they loved its predecessor, go ahead and purchase it right away. There is one flaw with the game, though and it sticks out for people who have played the last game. The last several chapters of the single-player are WAY too familiar and they used the same plot-structure from Uncharted 2. I won't spoil anything, but I could basically make an equation out of Uncharted 2's last several chapters and it would fit perfectly with this game. That's a problem, considering how great Uncharted 2's story was and I was expecting something even greater from its sequel. Overall, Uncharted 3: Drake's Deception is still a superb game and fans of the series, PS3 owners and action game enthusiasts should purchase it right away.… Expand

Uncharted is known for one thing and that is for being great. I thought Uncharted 2 pushed the capabilities of the PS3 to the limit and that Naughty Dog couldn't have done any better but I was wrong. Uncharted 3 has massively improved its lighting and animations and feels as if your are playing an interactive movie instead of a game. One of the best and most beautiful games I have ever played. Some times I had to stop and just admire the surroundings; is like being actually in those exotic locations. A Masterpiece indeed! Everything is just amazing from graphics to storytelling. One thing that i didn't like was the frustrating fights that you can come across and the shadows. The shadows were perfect in Uncharted 2 but now it's Uncharted Drake's Fortune all over again.

Uncharted 3 is probably the most perfect game this year for me.. It has everything that you need to have.. However I felt like the storyline is too simple yet Uncharted 2 has better and deeper story. The trailer for U3 ggot me excited but the game itself doesn't excite me as much as the trailer. After all this game was brilliant and it is my game of the year..

Uncharted 3 was one of the greatest video games I have ever played. From the graphics to the gameplay. Everything was top notch. The characters seemed believable and the awesome story mode made me want to not turn it off. I was at the edge of my seat as I was hanging from a cliff or falling out of a plane.

Overall, U3 is not perfect. The linear gameplay makes way for its strengths and weaknesses: cinematic and technological advances with tight level design versus gamer choice, and less challenge. What remains though, is still the pinnacle of the modern console: an engineered experience. This is a one of a kind game that cannot be recommended more. Some might argue that Among Thieves is the better game, but the improved technology and the manner in which emotion is explored takes the Uncharted template and creates something not new, but better. After being a bit disappointed with Uncharted 2, which I believe to be overhyped, I was interested to see how UC3 fared. Overall, it's a much better game. The gameplay and graphics are still pretty much exactly the same with minor additions to the fighting and some new weapons. However, unlike UC2, I was never bored when playing the story. There were moments in UC2 that felt like more of a chore than a fun activity but they have eradicated that in this game. The story and voice acting are amazing once again and all the levels are different, always offering something new, which was the main thing UC2 lacked in my opinion. Definitely a must have for any PS3 owner.… Expand

Uncharted is a great series, the first installment was a great if somewhat flawed explosion onto the PS3, feeding the hunger for an Indy type character which we all love, giving us the heady mix of exploration, albeit linear, puzzles and combat. I loved the first game, the second more, it really pushed the envelope in story telling, character development and an affection for the characters usually lacking in the wooden one dimensional people that normally populate video game land. Where 2 was a jaw dropping kick up the arschenholler for most developers, I feel that 3 does'nt quite hit the same high tide mark. I loved the steady build of London and the excellent Drake as a youth levels. Something didnt quite just click. The graphics as to be expected of Naughty Dog were exceptional, but the usually well fleshed out enemies were missing. The Helen Mirren baddie wasnt explained enough, nor her underling. Though he looked suspiciously like the English bloke from 2. For all the spectacle, and it was spectacular, I felt that some of the heart was missing. Cutter, who was great, disappeared in the second act along with Chloe. Elena barely made an entrance. It seemed that in the early part of the game, puzzles were abundant and a definate refinement over previous efforts, but beyond that they disappeared totally. Gunplay was a bit wonky with the cover mechanic being hit and miss at best. Also the fact that enemies know where you are, even if they cant have possibly seen you in cover, but pour masses of fire onto you anyway was a bit lame. It also felt like it was all over a bit to soon, and lacked a real climax ( the escape from the collapsing city was was awesome visually) it just lacked a bit of occasion as i didnt really care about the baddies or know enough about them. Overall a good entry but not what i was hoping for after the second one.… Expand

I Love the Uncharted series! It's something all of my friends know and Uncharted 2 is the game that made me proud to own a PS3. Uncharted 3 is an amazing sequel and is well deserving of the praise that it's getting from the Media and from all the users on Metacritic. Something that this game does better than the past 2 games is the Storytelling. The story is magnificent. If there is one thing that Uncharted fans wanted from the past game is that there would be a lot more Sully. This game has Sully, a LOT of Sully. I completed this game and i have no faults with it. The story is very good with a nice length to too long and definitely not too short. The range of difficulties are good for everyone and how they like to play the game. The story in this uncharted helps give Drake more of a back round that the other tow games have not. It shows more about his history. The online is also very good with many game mods with your multiplayer matches and your co-op matches. The Uncharted serious comes full circle. This is hands down the most complete package Naughty Dog has offered so far. The story does suffer some of the same problems as the first two, and the conclusion is seen a mile away, however the ride Drake takes you on is well worth the price of admission.

Great game. Graphics and sound are top notch, although UC2's story was a bit better, some of the characters in the game seem forced into it since it's a sequal, but it's still entertaining. This game is totaly amazing.After the first two games;I'd been waiting for a sequel.I preordered and waited till 11.1.2011. When I started;i was disappointed a little;coz the graphics were the same with second game.But when the 2nd chapter in Cartagena started; my jaw was dropped.The lightning effects were amazing and there are lots of npcs.We only saw some in Tibet chapters in second game;so I thought it will be 10x better from AT.When we go to France,i said "Oh,no!Jungle again?" But then; it wasn't like what i was thinking.Especially; the puzzle.

The Chase in Yemen,sinking cruise ship and cargo plane sections were incredible.But the best part was Desert,where we searched for Sully.Only bad thing about single player campaign is the last 30 minutes.Coz i was waiting for an epic ending.

It's a very good game, recommendable, the only problem is the lag of the sight when aiming but does not affect many amenities that you play on hard.
The graphics left me shocked and over the sands, when you walk as you can see the textures, and when they fall.
Naughty Dog is definitely a very good title sac that exceeds the previous one in many respects.

Just finished it (took me about 10 hrs) - awesome game, like the previous !! Not as good as Uncharted 2 - but very close. Loved the boat & airplane scenes -- just BRILLIANT!! The graphics are really superb -- I was just staring at the desert sands and dunes blowing -- as if in a movie scene...STUNNING !! Highly recommended - now bring on the 4th.

To start I think people need to realize that we are ranking a game, not a series. Some of these lower rating are being given because it is being compared to UC 1 and UC 2. The Uncharted series is beyond any ranking, it is something movie writers and creators cannot even come close to doing. That being said, Uncharted 3 is a great game! To start the storyline is wonderful, the games play is great, and the on line play is enjoying. Now like I said it is a awesome game in an even better series of games. People are getting caught up comparing it to Uncharted 2 (which in my opinion is greatest game ever made) and of course by comparing it to that it will receive a lower score. You need to look at this game only and not the others in the series and by doing that it will receive a 10/10. I even starting thinking of this game and ranking it lower then it should be. I realized that I was comparing it to UC 1 and UC 2. Once I thought of the game play of UC 3, I then realized that I need to review the game not the series. Trust me, buy the game you will not be disappointed! It does start off a little slower then the others, but it is to create the storyline. Uncharted 3, probably one of the best games I've ever played in my whole life! Tensive from the minute you press "New Game", and a lot of big climaxes that makes you feel like you're just watching an awesome action movie that you want to see over, and over again! It also has a lot of replay-ability because of the insane chapters you want to replay for like a million times, for example Plane and the Chateau chapter. Uncharted 3 doesn't disappoint, with a exciting story, an enjoyable multiplayer and arguably the best graphics out of any game. However, after a while you run out of things to do, especially in Single-Player, but nonetheless, a must-buy for any PS3 owner.

This is the greatest game i have ever played. from graphics to gameplay, from gameplay to story telling. This had it all. The graphics, at first glance, don't appear much better, but at a closer look, the detail is a lot better than "Among Thieves" and went well with everything that was going on. The frame rate never dropped no matter what was going on below 60 fps. The sand was without a doubt, the best effects i have ever seen in a video game. From clinging to Drake's hair, to falling down slopes when he walked on the edge. The water was even better than ever, it acted as if it was real; same with the fire. The fire moved as though Naughty Dog programmed oxygen or something to eat up wood. The gameplay was better than anything i have ever seen. Hand to hand fighting was actually fun, and not boring like the first two where you would rather shoot instead. The game moved with epic set pieces in the most random places and in ways without disrupting what was going on. Example: you would be fighting and something would explode and the whole level would tilt and the environment would react to what would happen in real life. The gun-play is better than ever also. It is more accurate than before. allowing you to see your enemies further, the guns act very real for a third person shooter. The story as the back-cover summary says on the case, details around the relationship between Nathan and Sullivan, this time. it's not so much treasure questing this time around. The game tells the story of everything about them as a son and father sort of way. You find things out about Nathan that makes you wonder about future games. With twists in the story randomly there are very emotional parts that can bring tears to your eyes just watching. The voice acting is top notch, very few games reach this level of awesomeness. The replay value is very high, until you beat story mode. The online isn't all that as usual, but that's not stopping me from keeping it to replay it again one day. This is one game that should be labeled game of the decade. From beginning to end. It was non-stop heart racing action that ends in a surprising and satisfying way. Uncharted 3 is the reason we play video games. The Uncharted series just keeps getting better and better. They've taken every exciting big action event from all of your favourite action movies, and rolled them up into one fantastic video game. I'm disappointed that more games aren't made to this caliber. In short - Monumental. The previous mistakes Naughty Dog had made in the inclusion of the cliche supernatural enemies has been done far better this time around, as it arises to be slightly ambiguous and allowing to point fingers at the enemies existence. This element has been one of the major drawbacks to the previous games in the series, and ambiguity has helped this third installment from falling into the same hole. Apart from this the narrative is far more interesting, involving flashbacks, interesting dream sequences, with clear inspirations from classic masterpieces in cinema like Lawrence of Arabia. The action is packed, and the rhythm is brilliant. Generally most single player experiences lose me half way, but here I played the game from start to finish in a single sitting. Mind you the game is short, but great things always come to an end quickly, but are forever remembered. This game is not only the best in the series, but is the best Playstation 3 game ever made. I believe the whole middle half of this game continually keeps surprising. They keep throwing more and more on you, and the game just doesn't let down. From battling on boats, to catching a plane, to landing in the desert, the game will chain you to the moments. Also don't worry about the controls or the gameplay, it's as fluid as ever and far superior to the zero recoil and lack of muzzle climb you'd find in the unrealistic interpretations during the last installments. Then there's multi-player, and expect to be playing this one a whole lot longer than the last due to the in depth progression system made to keep up with the times, and the awesome assortment of possible load-outs minus game breaking perks like classic COD stopping power. In end you'll be asking yourself do I go with weapon expert or fleet foot? That will be one of the many hard choices you will have playing this game, what won't be a hard choice however, will be deciding on whether to pick up this game. Highly Recommended… Expand

Great, but multiplayer takes too long to set up.
The uncharted series has always kept up its insanely high standards, Uncharted 2 making it into IGN's game of the year. Uncharted 3 expands on the success making everything bigger better and raising the stakes. I won't say too much about the story, but i can say that it is pretty short. Thats one of the downsides. Uncharted 2 packed in multiplayer, but i never touched it, mostly because it was too hard to find a match and it took too long to load. This is the same here, but since the game is newer, there ARE people playing. Right now its pretty easy to find a match and it is pretty easy to set up, but takes much longer than games like Call of duty, then again, those games are mainly for multiplayer so i cant say much.

In the end, the package is relatiely short, but sweet. If your looking for a great game to last you the summer, pick up uncharted 3, and while your at it, pick up the first two like i did.… Expand

Direct mirror of the amazing Uncharted 2, with even more explosive adventure. UC3 is designed with so much care and heart into it that is shines so bright on the PS3. If it ain't broke don't fix it, that would true but Naughty Dog out done themselves by not copying and pasting but instead made it so much better than its predecessor. It was an amazing journey from start to finish, the gameplay, graphics and story are as always from the Uncharted franchise second-to-none.
An added bonus is the challenging yet not too difficult list of trophies you can collect (Unlike most games with the silly hard to get multiplayer ones).
On the lines of multiplayer, I find it a huge step up from Among Thieves, the added features are a master class from Naughty Dog.
This game is a must own and if your reading this review you must be interested in it, so stop thinking about it and get out there and buy it!… Expand

Uncharted 2 was the first game I ever bought for my PS3 and I loved that game! Fun and challenging campaign and an amazing multiplayer that I played just about everyday...until the Uncharted 3 beta came out. The beta for Uncharted 3 was so good, it was better than many other released AAA games. So I had high expectations for Uncharted 3. I bought Uncharted 3 on release date and played through the campaign first, as I do with all games. The campaign had a decent story line. Some of the puzzles didn't seem well thought out and one in particular felt clunky, like Drake wasn't going where I wanted him to go or do what I wanted. I read a review that said Drake walks like a drunken sailor in some parts and i noticed the same thing. Particularly annoying is that, for some reason, the devs created an OCD Drake that feels compelled to touch every wall as he passes by. Why? It seemed contrived as if they wanted to give him a personality tick that would make him seem more "real." But it was just real annoying. I mean even during chases, Drake has to stick out his had and touch walls. He didn't do that in Uncharted 1 or 2, so why does he suddenly have this OCD compulsion to touch walls as he walks by. Please get rid of that in UC4. However, in every other aspect, the game excels. The campaign was just the right length, not overacted, good pacing from scene to scene, good variety of weapons, good fights, and beautiful graphics. Some scenes were visually stunning, like the airplane scene and the desert scene. I gotta say the campaign was a little too easy and everyone seems to be platinum-ing it in days. Probably the easiest platinum I've ever achieved. But the multiplayer is where this game shines. The multiplayer is actually better than Uncharted 2, which is a great accomplishment by the developers. The maps are good and diverse and some have changing environments. For example, you can be in a match, and suddenly there is a blinding dust storm and you play through it. I also like the buddy system where you are paired with another player, which has advantages. I also like the powerplay aspect which helps even out the odds between mismatched teams. Uncharted 3 has a solid campaign and a stellar multiplayer that no other game out there can beat. Way to go Naughty Dog.… Expand

A great game, the series Uncharted is a reference of its kind. Uncharted 3 does not give the qualitative leap that gave uncharted 2, but is the perfect coda to a unique trilogy on PS3. Good graphics, cinematic style and lots of action.
Must have for any collection.

Love this game!! Now, UC2 is by far my favorite game of all time, UC3 come very close. I have to say, if I'm being honest, it does fall a little short. But it still is a must play for any Uncharted fans.

Uncharted 3 is a good game don't get me wrong, but it just doesn't feel right to me. The first 4 chapters are extremely boring and the bar fight and playing with little drake were fun but it just felt too tedious. One small shootout later back to the old boring feel in chapter 6. To me it's to easy and the gunfights just don't seem exhilerating. The graphics are by far the best ever in a video game though!!!!! The multiplayer just isn't that good and not a reason why you should buy this game. Uncharted 2 : Among Thieves is still the best game on the ps3!!!… Expand

really good cinematic game with excellent blockbuster moments and amazing overall presentation. The story is really great i can be emotional at times it really does suck you in and after you finish the campaign you have a enjoyable multiplayer mode and a coop mode to play with your friends.

One of the greatest adventure games of all time. Uncharted 3 is so good I really cant think of anything bad to say about it. The gameplay is flawless, the story is unpredictable and definitely worthy of multiple playthroughs ( im on my 3rd playthough), the charecters are memorable and superbly acted, the mutliplayer is fun and addictive, and the thing i enjoyed most about the game is that it gives you so many ways to play the game. There are segments in the game where you can choose to go in guns blazing or you can take a more stealthier approach. What this game does the best though is making you care about the characters and what is happening to them. There are some moments in the game where i literally had my jaw on the floor such as the cargo plane sequence and the infamous cruise ship level. I cant stress enough how much i enjoy this game. If you have a ps3 go buy this game now i guarantee you wont be disappointed. If you dont have a ps3 go out and buy one then buy this game its that good.… Expand

This game is absolutely amazing. I could NOT put this game down. I had many other anticipated games available (Skyrim, 2k12, MW3, BF3) and yet THIS particular game kept getting inserted into my PS3. This game is so much like a movie and just shows how talented Naughty Dog actually is. From Uncharted: Drake's Fortune to this recent installment I am shocked that Naughty Dog still raises the bar. This is, the greatest game ever created, it is perfect in every aspect, except for the fact the game gets hard at the end, but just put the difficulty down and, voila :D but WOW, this blew my mind! This game is Awesome. The story is incredible and unpredictable. The aiming system could be better but you get used to it eventually. They changed Drakes movements to be more realistic. And the graphics well they went above and beyond its phenomenal. And the multiplayer is a great addition for replay ability. Naughty Dog all i got to say is. WHERE THE HELL IS JAK AND DAKTER!!!!

After waiting for one of my most anticipated games of 2011, and finally (FINALLY) getting to play it, I'm very pleased to say that Uncharted 3 is a huge step ahead of its predecessor. The graphics are yet again jaw-dropping (the cargo plane may be epic, but the desert is, for lack of a better word, beautiful). I firmly believe that the plot is miles ahead of previous iterations. And the multiplayer was extremely impressive.

In fact, after playing both the July Beta and the Subway Promo, I don't think there's one other aspect in the Uncharted 3 experience that amazed me than what they did to the multiplayer. One of the biggest complaints found in the previous betas was the staggering amount of blindfiring, particularly because of how easy it was to rack up kills by doing it, and just for experimentation, I tried blindfiring myself multiple times in the full game. Now it doesn't feel like an tactic--it feels downright risky to use, and I don't think I earned a single kill from using it. The multiplayer, thus, feels very balanced and offers a much more rich experience than Uncharted 2 ever did. One of my most favorite inclusions is a new feature called Missions, where you have to complete a certain objective in a certain amount of time. There are around 150 of these missions, and if you plan to complete them all (and I do), it's going to take an insane amount of time to do it. These missions are so great because activating them gives the player (in my personal experience) so much incentive to play and win; no longer is the multiplayer just a rank-up and unlock system--though there's plenty of that here--it becomes a much more personal experience of accomplishment that I only ever found in a single-player game. Along with the handful of multiplayer packs soon to be released, I find this game to have insane reply value. It makes up a lot for what I find to be disappointing in this game.

The biggest fault in UC3 stems not from its multiplayer, its graphics, or its story. In fact, I find it hard to place my finger on exactly what seems wrong with it. Apart from the few bugs I found during gameplay--which is excusable seeing how large this game is--nothing seems entirely lackluster in the experience that I had, and what an experience it is. Yet as the game came to a close and the credits began to roll, I couldn't help but find myself in a bit of disappointment. No spoilers, I promise, but the last few hours of gameplay did feel a bit rushed compared to how amazing the first half of the game is, for me anyway. It seems to suffer from some of the same faults that Uncharted 2 did; that is, where Sully was absent, Elena and Chloe made up for, and it seems to be the other way around this time. Likewise, the last few hours doesn't impressive nearly as much as what the beginning sets the game up for. Uncharted 3 is not a disappointment by any means, but it suffers a bit from some of the issues found in its predecessor, and the fact that they arrive yet again is a bit saddening. Yet I find it hard to believe that there will be anything out there as incredible as Uncharted 3 was, at least for a while. Is it the best game on PS3? Maybe. It holds a vast amount of polish, save for a few bugs, but the single-player suffers from meeting player expectations without going over-the-top with them, and I can't say it was as impactful as Uncharted 2 was. Maybe it's my own fault for holding expectations too high, and that's why I'm not going to bash the game. It's still an excellent experience that anyone can hope to enjoy. The experience is blast all the way to the end; it's when you get to the end that you find yourself wanting a little more.

I'll stop there I suppose. Stop reading this and go buy this game, because its pros more than make up for its cons. The single-player is a unique experience that, while not perfect, certainly excels in many of the places that Uncharted 2 fell a little short. The multiplayer is a completely different ball game, giving players what I personally believe to be "the go-to multiplayer experience". The package as a whole is something that PS3 players must not miss out on. In everyone's eyes, it may not be as great as Uncharted 2, but it sure comes pretty darn close.… Expand

This games is great. However, it parellels Uncharted 2 to much for my liking. I won't ruining the story but I will tell you it's familar ground if you've played uncharted 2, but if you've played Uncharted 2 you'll know that thats not a bad thing. It does feel a bit short and I whish they had spent more time in the desert because it was graphically stunning in the desert, there was one point in the desert section where I actually thought it was real life, thats quite an achievement. All the characters from two return but apart from sully they all feel like cameos, in fact theres only two new character (good not bad) one who's a bit steretypically british but works well and contrasts Nate's American beliefs and behaviour and another who you never really get to know which feels like a bit of a waste. The AI seem to charge you alot more in this game which when in large numbers and with shotguns can create horrible difficulty that aren't fun and draw you from the experience. However, the charging enemies allows you gasp at the incredibally cool looking and fun hand to hand combat , in fact you'll probably being doing most of the charging which is a good thing. There are stealth sections, I think because when ever I try and do them I always end up shooting. Also you learn about Nates history but your never really told much just hinted which is a good thing because that means there is going to be another Uncharted and I can't wait. There is an online but I really don't like it the guns have major recoil which wouldn't be a bad thing if it didn't take so much bullets to kill someone. You've probably played the beta which was very succsessfull so you'll know if you like the online or not but the co-op missions are great fun and theres an onslaught mode similar to uncharted 2 which is great to play with friends.… Expand

Have to say I don't really get the "I loved Uncharted 1/2 but this one sucks" reviews on here, talking about not enough of this too much of that bad controls n all the rest of it, the jumping controls/shooting seem exactly the same as the previous titles melee is an improvement IMO, story-wise its no better or worse than 1 or 2 just different, linear and fairly short but no one is claiming it as a 50+ hr RPG, an improvement on U2? I just finished the game and I feel that I just played a very good game, with an amazing story (ok, the end is not so good) and an impressive graphic. For me it's not a 10 for 2 reason: too short (that doesn' t mean just"few hours"; things just flew too fast, giving a strange sensation) and too similar to uncharted 2. Uncharted 3 does pretty much everything right, and is my game of the year. The game looks great, is very immersive due to great storytelling, voice acting and motion capture, has a great story, fun campaign, excellent score, and most importantly, it's fun to play. The shooting and cover system work perfectly, and there have been some additions to melee fighting, but surprisingly (not so surprising if you've played Uncharted before) where the game really shines is during cutscenes. What's even more surprising is that this doesn't feel wrong. It doesn't feel wrong that a game's cutscenes are better than it's gameplay yet it's still critically universally acclaimed. Few games can immerse you in the way Uncharted does. It's quite simple, playing the campaign will be some of the most enjoyable nine hours you've spent with video games. The multiplayer isn't as good as the campaign but still very enjoyable. It's functional, very competitive and can be addictive. It's much more rewarding than Uncharted 3's multiplayer, with the new levelling system, loadouts, boosters and kickbacks. While the campaign is quite short at 9 hours, you should play through it more than once to find all the treasures, complete it on crushing, or just to experience it again, and the multiplayer should keep you playing for tens of hours longer. If you have a PS3, not having this game is out of the question, because this is as good as video games get.… Expand

Far from perfect, IMO UC2 is better overall but it is still fun anad worth a buy. especially the underrated co-op which is a game in itself. Still has many issues and while the story and acting was great the pacing was really off in this game ruining the experience when a fade to black and page wipe leads you to a new country as if this were some 12 year old's video project for school. Graphics are amazing though and gameplay is fun but it has many issues in terms of repetitiveness due to low amount of check points. It's either way too easy or simply annoying due to having to replay the same part over and over again to not get shot by a certain person. Worth a buy though.… Expand

This game has satisfying gun fights with good level of difficulty with bigger set pieces, but i am missing the tweaks which was present in uncharted 2.

A friend of mine turned me onto this series when I first picked up my playstation about a year ago. I've been In love ever since! This game is all about story progression & character development. A lot of time has been spent ensuring the consumer gets wrapped up in "what happens next". Yet, the developer didn't alienate those who enjoy collecting, puzzle solving, or shooting.

The story, character development & voice acting are all top-notch & really make the game what it is, an experience. It seems that all of the members of the original cast made the effort to return for this sequel which really speaks to the regard for which the actors & the developer hold for the franchise & really helps to provide a sense of continuity. I found the shooting as frustrating as the past two iterations, assigning the same button for dodging/rolling as grabbing/throwing an assailant was a poor choice of control scheme & sometimes the camera would move @ the wrong time which in turn would cause Drake to move in the wrong direction or "miss the mark" which prove frustrating from time to time, but this was not a common occurance.

The puzzles were moderately challenging & provided the needed breaks from the action/shooting sequences.

Multiplayer is fun & the leveling progression a la modern warfare gives the player something to shoot for & provides a lot of replay value.

I loved the game, I thought it looked as good or better than most top-tier games for the playstation & the score, beautifully mastered & orchestrated.

A must have, as well as the first two iterations!… Expand

NOW EVERY SCORE INSTEAD TO BE ANYTHING /10 SHOULD BE ANYTHING/UNCHARTED..... uncharted 3 has one of the best stories i've ever seen and the changes since uncharted 2 mutiplayer and uc3 beta are great, and this game deserves to break the score record ;)

With a breathtaking campaign, beyond amazing graphics, and expanded multiplayer options, Uncharted 3 brings back everything we loved from Uncharted 2, with all the things that kept Uncharted 2 from perfection: expanded melee attacks, SPLIT SCREEN FOR GOODNESS SAKE, and a host of other smaller improvements. Trust me, you can't go wrong with this one. It gets a 9.9/10 for me!

I really enjoyed this game. The gamplay leans more toward hand to hand brawls. Its makes it more of an old school action movie feeling. The story is enjoyable and you will lose yourself in it. The online is terrific. Nuff said. Just buy it.
