  1. Though largely lacking in ingenuity, Watchmen: The End is Nigh proves that if licensed games can’t be good, they can at least look good. The gameplay has a life expectancy of about 45 minutes, and at a pricey $20 for just a few hours of play, it probably should have been released for five bucks and used as a promotional tool for the flick.

A distressingly shallow videogame in which there's nothing for players to do but beat the living crap out of everyone they see.
  3. 40
The game requires very little in the way of strategy or timing -- just mashing on the attack buttons is more than enough to get you through half the game. At that point, more and more enemies start piling on you, and getting cheap-shotted in the back is an excellent way to die (and be booted out to a long loading screen while you wait for the exact same level you were just in to be reloaded).

Gamers have outgrown games so utterly basic and brainless. [May 2009, p.80]

Clumsy and uninspired. Avoid this like a mugging. [May 2009, p.64]
  6. Disappointing lately, city filled with grime and filth. Soul gone. Inspiration gone.

In a game that's only two hours long, being this gnawingly repetitive is actually quite an achievement. [May 2009, p.103]

Long loading times, a high price, very little to do with watchmen, crap story, short and more redundant/simple than any other game I haveLong loading times, a high price, very little to do with watchmen, crap story, short and more redundant/simple than any other game I have played in the past few years.
The one decent thing is the graphics but they're incredibly smoke and mirrors(relying on UE3 shine). This game is a waste of time and money. It really shouldn't even appeal to the typical watchmen fan...
