If you like winter sports you should'n miss this interesting title. This is one of the most complete and fun games ever made about them, with 11 different sports, PlayStation Move support and both local and online multiplayer. It also has a challenge for everyone.

Winter Stars offers a few intriguing events, but remains mired in the same old morass that all these olympic-style events sink into. Bland controls certainly don't help, and the story mode and multiplayer don't do enough to sell you on the game.

Winter Stars might not quite rival Sports Champions for your go-to multiplayer sports game, but it's still got some qualities going for it: look past the dodgy dialogue and cut scenes and the single-player campaign isn't half bad. It's a little rough around the edges and doesn't quite get the best out of Move, but there are considerably worse sports games out there.
  4. While the story at least tries to play on reality, the gameplay lurches back and forth between sim and arcade. [Feb 2012, p.107]
