This game is anything but polished, but it's also solid enough that you get more than what you paid for. [May 2010, p.77]
All told, World of Outlaws is a decent buy for fans of unforgiving racing games. It's not as exciting as an arcade racer, but it does a good job of mixing accessibility with realism and challenge. For $20, that's a pretty good deal.
Like the sprint cars it features, this budget-priced racer gets the job done but isn't much to look at.
The racing isn’t engaging, exciting, or energetic, and that (along with a bunch of other oversights) sinks this game.
