  1. A movie-based game that is well done and relatively problem free? X-Men Origins: Wolverine is definitely one of the more pleasant surprises of the year.
  2. X-Men Origins: Wolverine is a superb action game especially for fans of the character. This is the Wolverine game that fans have been waiting for. It’s not incredibly varied and a lesser game would have suffered because of this but Wolverine is just incredibly fun.
  3. X-Men Origins: Wolverine might not be the most original title, but what it does it does very, very well.
  4. Have you ever been rewarded for ripping 250 guys in half with your bare hands? You will be while playing this game, and if that's not reason enough to buy it, then I really don't know what is.
  5. A very good slash 'em up -adventure. It's pretty and faithful to the original character i.e. extremely brutal and bloody. There's some minor why can't I go there -type problems, though. [May 2009]

Ok, so u may think that 10 is a bit ott, but man i love hack n slash adventure games, and this really is as close to god of war as we're Ok, so u may think that 10 is a bit ott, but man i love hack n slash adventure games, and this really is as close to god of war as we're gonna get for now. the violence in this game is astounding, and the graphics are pretty damn good for a rushed tie-in game, only real glitch i found was his dogtags that seem to jitter about all over the place for no apparent reason, lol. also, i don't understand why the 360 version has a higher metascore, after perusing the reviews there are a few non console specific reviews that are only applied to the 360's metascore, which are higher, and the ps3 page has some non specific reviews which are low and not applied to the 360 version, which is odd, have a look metacritic moderators, i swear its not right!
