I'm surprised Konami hasn't taken the opportunity to develop a free-to-play Yu-Gi-Oh! game, given how well suited the free-to-play model is for the genre, but as a very old-school approach to digital CCG, this is a decent effort that will appease Yu-Gi-Oh fans, and perhaps even convert one or two new ones.

It fails to catch the player, but if you make an effort to go deeper and deeper, then it does deliver the experience it promises.

Yu-Gi-Oh! Millennium Duels is mainly for the fans. While newcomers may be able to appreciate the depths of this card-based battler, its low-frills presentation makes it a difficult sell.

It seemed to expensive at the time to start collecting again so I just moved on to the next hobby. Seeing this game for $10 just brought that little kid in me back to life. It wasnt to hard getting used to all the new rules, the tutorial wasnt much help there. The games difficulty starts off pretty low, though with the trash deck they give you it had better. It doesnt take all that long to acquire more cards you just have to be lucky enough to get decent ones. After only a couple of opponents the difficulty goes from easy to HOW THE HELL AM I SUPPOSE TO BEAT THIS GUY. Overall its a great game for Yu-Gi-Oh fans both new and old. I just wish there was a trading system implemented and a better soundtrack. Also the option to view 3-d battles, I mean come on Forbidden Memories had that option and it released 13 years ago. Expand

Millennium Duels is a Yu-Gi-Oh! video game, The game's Normal Mode is divided into the four series. Within each four are 4 "towers", and in each tower are five characters from each respective series. The first four characters you must defeat in a Single Duel while the last character you must defeat in a Match Duel. You must defeat each character in each tower in order to advance to the next series. After completing the ZEXAL series, an Expert Mode is unlocked, which works the same as Normal Mode, but each character uses a much more powerful Deck. Expand

I think the Yugioh games would be great if the played out like the Eye of Judgement game, but that a different topic on its own. I think this version of Yugioh would be better if the game was more designed like the POC series, not only would it make you feel like you were playing against a real opponent, but that you actually could win some nice cards as you try to collect them in the game. Nice way of incorporated the lead characters from the TV series, but it would've been more fun, it they also had other characters from the respective TV series to duel against. Yugioh is great, but there is always room for improvement. Expand

I feel Other Fish should have Implemented a better way on receiving cards. I also wondered why Other Fish never introduced a Trading Card operating system. Where duelist could chat and trade cards the won. If there not going to awarded Dueling Points, then Other Fish should allow Duelist too trade cards that we own. This is suppose too be a (TCG) Trading Card Game, if I am not mistaking. It is as well as a community game.. IDK what U guys think? Expand
