The LEGO Movie Videogame was one of the few LEGO games that instantly made me want to play more upon finishing the story mode.
  2. Speaking as a fellow who’s spent far too much money on plastic bricks for his kid – and more time than he cares to admit building and disassembling them with her – I haven’t been as enthralled with or enchanted by a Lego game since the original Lego Star Wars.

The latest incarnation of the famous franchise is an absolutely must have for those who loved the previous LEGO games. Even with just some small additions, The LEGO Movie Videogame is the perfect product for the family and comes with funny characters, a brilliant story and a valuable replay.

It might be not the best LEGO so far, but it does offer what you expect from the series. If you're a fan of it, you won't be disappointed.

Where LEGO City Undercover delivered a great solo experience in a sandbox and LEGO Marvel Superheroes delivered lots of characters, The LEGO Movie Videogame seems happy enough with providing the usual two player co-op that TT Games does so well. This time they do it with a lot of focus on the well-known building blocks and some twists on the movie. As a fan of LEGO assembling, the movie or TT Games in general, this is a must-have.

Funny, colorful, and full of personality, The Lego Movie Videogame not only successfully builds from its source material but is also a great example of why Lego games are so much fun to play.

TT Games sets a double-punch with this unique movie-videogame based upon the LEGO World. Fun, engaging and very detailed action adventure masterpiece.

Clever, colourful and weirdly comforting – there’s little to dislike about The Lego Movie Videogame, even if it feels assembled from the same bricks as its predecessors. Not everything is awesome, but it comes close enough.

The LEGO Movie Videogame offers the same enjoyable formula from other LEGO games, but also some new mechanics, and every single aspect from the film, has been brought to this tie-in, including the catchy song. Having said that, the game also has new flaws when compared with others in the LEGO series, and in the end is less enjoyable than the movie.

As a game based on a movie based on a toy franchise this could have gone a lot of different ways. As it turns out, it's just another highly enjoyable, if not exactly memorable, LEGO experience.

This is one of the best tie in games for a movie that I have played in a long time. It's good enough that it would easily stand on it's ownThis is one of the best tie in games for a movie that I have played in a long time. It's good enough that it would easily stand on it's own without the movie based on how well the levels fill in the gaps along the story line.

The levels are fun and brimming with hidden areas, characters and collectibles. Having the actual voice actors really pulls the game together and gives it the charm that the movie brings tot the table.

The music is amazing and really gets you into the action and story.

The only thing about this game that was a disappointment was the lack of online co op. These games are meant to be played with another person, and as much fun as it is playing with someone next to me - there are others whom I would love to play this with that do not live in the same province as me.

With that aside - this game is a solid platforming collecting haven of fun. Everything is indeed, awesome.

This game is fabulous , LEGO games have always been fun but many of them lacked the originality that few games in the series had . The storyThis game is fabulous , LEGO games have always been fun but many of them lacked the originality that few games in the series had . The story is quite simple you are Emmet who is a construction worker and work to recover the ' Kragle ' from Lord Businessman .. The characters are funny and have goofy names as well there a lot of characters to choose from and unlocking them is addicting ... You will be putting a lot of hours in getting the trophies and all collectibles which is fun and challenging at times , Remote play works exceptionally well . Though there is a minor complaint that open world could be expanded a bit , Game play is classic LEGO style and each charterer has some special ability .. All in all everyone would love the game especially the ones who have watched the movie ! 9/10 ! Full Review »
