  • Summary: Hit Bentley's arcade hang-out to play three retro-tinged games.

Spark Runner: Pick a path through a tricky, circuit board obstacle course before the clock runs out.
Alter Ego: Bypass security systems as you fly through a deadly maze, collecting Ion Bits to level up Bentley's alter ego as
    you go.
System Cracker: Climb aboard the Shell Code tank and blast anything that stands between you and the docking gate at the end of each level.

Bentley's Hack Pack has an interesting enough framework to actually compel you to keep going, with a bit of the ol' Sly charm to boot. For a few bucks, it's worth taking the plunge.

Bentley's Hackpack was a surprise, and a welcome one at that. Two of the hacking minigames System Cracker and Alter Ego are very fun and I enjoyed every single level of them. Their challenges were difficult enough to give me a run for the three dollars I spent. Spark Runner, however, the minigame I very much loathe because of its motion control, was way more aggravating than fun in here since the difficulty was amped up. The prizes offered at Dimitri's counter were nice, but a cross-play feature with Thieves in Time would have been interesting to see (unlocking a certain prize in the Hackpack would give Sly a new ability, for example?). But again, this was three dollars, and it was a lot of fun to hack my way to completing it. Collapse

Lots of great presentation around very little content. Only access to two games to start and I didn't unlock the third game yet after playing for a good hour. One game is OK and is a twin stick shooter that is interesting enough to keep me playing. The other is a marble madness type game that seems to be only playable with motion control moving around the Vita. It is horrible to control and I found it unplayable. Disappointed as a Sly fan.
