  • Summary: Experience a brilliantly designed physics-based puzzle/platform game where you must guide a puddle of fluid to its target destination, not by moving the fluid, but by tilting the game world. The player must work with friction, momentum, and the unique properties of each type of fluid and environment to send as much of each puddle past fires, rifts, potential spills and more. But watch out: the fluid motion is realistic! Tilt too quickly and some droplets are left behind; tilt too slowly you may not be able to make certain jumps or may simply evaporate away. Collapse

The indie hit is back, with touch and motion controls on the PS Vita. A must-download for all puzzle fans with some skills!

One of Vita's best puzzle games. [Issue#222, p.81]

One of the best puzzle games for the PlayStation Vita, Puddle delivers on its fun premise with 49 levels of smooth and even calming gameplay.
  4. Jul 30, 2012
Puddle presents the fascinating journey of several types of fluids through original levels like a garden, laboratory or inside the human body. It's great, for moments, fascinating, but Puddle's difficulty is too unfairly hard and overcoming these difficulties requires trial and error mechanics.

Puddle is another good puzzle game for PS Vita. Despite its charming graphic style and sound, its good longevity, its responsive control system and a well packed gameplay, Puddle fails to enchant and surprise as hoped.
  6. 75
Trail and error approach can frustrate, but Puddle's attractive aesthetic and increasingly difficult challenges make it one of Vita's top puzzlers.
  7. Jul 30, 2012
There are already better two-dimensional blob-based puzzlers on Vita, but Puddle is not entirely without merit. The title's impressive variety and evolving mechanics ensure that it's an experience worth dipping your toes into, even if its many difficulty spikes and inefficient communication will make you want to liquidate the expensive platform you're playing it on.

This is a very nice game for the Vita. I won't lie, it's not the most amazing puzzle game I've played, but it is definitely worth looking into. Featuring some rather nice and smooth looking visuals, this physics & water based puzzle game is enjoyable for someone looking to play something more on the mellow side for the Vita. Expand

Visually attractive action puzzle game with overall relaxing mood, which can sometimes really test your patience, because of its trial and error nature. Expand

Puddle will satisfy with its visuals and gameplay but occasionally will frustrate you with its gameplay. Its nowhere near as fun or as satisfying as other PSVita titles. Expand

game play is far too simple, with the only controls being to tilt the game area left or right, which strangely uses touches on the rear touch pad, where tilting the vita, or even using the triggers would have made more sense.

the camera movement is annoying as parts of your 'puddle' will get separated and the camera simply moves on making it impossible to recover from.

the use of the word 'whine' for skipping a level is a little insulting, when it's the game's faults (camera/level design) which makes some levels infuriating to play and near impossible to finish.

Very little fun to be had! same your and go for mutant space blobs attack if you want a great downloadable vita game
