Feb 6, 2013Easily the best game for the Vita yet; an immersive, nostalgic 3-D platformer that'll leave Sly Cooper fans and noobs engaged alike. The graphics are gorgeous, the game play is intuitive, the script is witty, funny and not super cheesy like similar titles might be.… Full Review »
Feb 10, 2013I must say this really is a game that is part of the Sly Cooper series, it appears to keep to the same style and setting in the sense the first three, I like that it actually feels like one a sly game, rather then being altered to the point where there is no resemblance to the previous games, as so many other titles have suffered. I love the game so far, it was well worth the money.
However, It appears that the Vita version of this game is or appears to be a port from the PlayStation 3 with little alteration, this is fine in the sense of keeping the games similar, but I have found that the game can lag and slow down on the Vita, and I have encountered quite a few bugs and glitches. Although the game did just release, and I am hoping that they release an update for this game to make it run much smoother on the Vita.
All in all I must say that this really is a great game, if you played the previous titles you will love this one, it may even be good if you start out with this game! Some may say that they find it too childish, but really what does it matter? As someone once said, "A mature adult should not be afraid of childish things."
So, to conclude, this game really is worth your time and money, but I must take my score down to 9, I do love this game, however it needs an update to fix the issues of the game lagging from time to time, as well as other bug fixes.… Full Review »
Nov 26, 2013Right as i was about to sell my ps vita because of the lack of games, this came out. i loved playing the original sly cooper games and this game keeps the same formula as sly 2 and sly 3. it resembles sly 2 the most (sly 2 is my favorite game of all time). i was happy when i heard this game was coming to vita and when it was released it was not a let down. the ps3 version may have a different feel but i would say overall it is the same game. this was the game that i think marked the ps vita as a proud console to own instead of the dust collector. the 3ds, wii u and ps3 all went through the same process but i thought that the ps vita was too far gone until i played this.… Full Review »
