  • Summary: This time the game takes place across a great expanse of time and space, making for greatly diverse level designs, which in turn keep the game fresh.

  1. As some would argue, the best 2.5D platformer ever released. [Nov 2001, p.40]

A very strong contender for PlayStation game of the year. Its "rowdy rowdy" gameplay will keep your head spinning for days.
  3. Easily the best Crash game yet and possibly the greatest platforming title on the PSX yet. Although not as long as the previous games it provides the most bang for the buck!
  4. A barrage of good things. The graphics, sound, music, levels, and difficulty all come together perfectly. Naughty Dog has made Crash a much better game, something that is commendable when so many sequels come up short.

Excellent, fun arcade adventure. perfect for the system, and still fun today. I have absolutely no issues with this game, and through its simplicity you can see its genius. Simple levels and easy controls, along with traditional crash wackiness made the game for me. Expand

Much like with his great rival, Spyro, Crash's third game is his best. However, it's not his last great game (wrath of cortex, baby). This game managed to do something that the other Crashes couldn't: finish the game and enjoy it. This game was, undoubtedly, the epitome of the Playstation... well, at least until Year of the Dragon... Expand

It is way to easy to beat. and nothing that cool or new to it. I like crash 2 the most.

A great adventure is letdown by its boring context.
