This is an okay brawler. The enviorments are interactive which makes think a bit funner and there is basketloads of characters from the Digimon series seasons 1-3. Yet that's just about it... the final boss is infuriating and the guys before him are so easy you'll only lose if you really suck at games. Also the characters play the same all the same!!! 1. It's the closest thing to "Super Smash Bros." that the PSOne will ever get, and based on the compromised look of the graphics on display here that's probably a good thing.
  2. Without a doubt, this is the best Digimon game I’ve ever played, but it’s still nothing special. [Mar 2002, p.144]

Despite the nice presentation, there just isn’t very much to do compared with Nintendo’s genre-defining fighter [Super Smash Bros].
