  1. It's Number One, baby! Hi, Mom!

Madden takes the trophy again this year, with "GameDay" closing the gap by a little.
  3. This could very well be the final PS "Madden" and that's ok because it's the best!

Excellent commentary by Pat Summeral and John Madden coupled with some nice music in the menu system and good layer sounds make this game music to your ears.
  5. The most impressive interactive gridiron PlayStation sensations to date.
  6. Play a version of Madden where the Rams could actually win with Kurt Warner. [Feb 2003, p.97]
  7. Essentially, Madden 2001 is just another upgrade, and it's becoming clear that EA has bigger plans than the PSX...namely, the PS2.
