The kind of game you can’t get out of your mind. Though frustration may make you set it down (I limited myself to about an hour a run) it’s a game you can always come back to.
The time it took me to beat this on my first playthrough was horrendous, I could’ve of found a functional McDonald’s ice cream machine, solved world hunger, cure cancer and find the meaning of life, but no I decided to play this garbage and I regret it, this game is too hard compared to other X games just play gate stage 2 and you’ll see what I mean, and other times this game is too easy like commander yamark like I think every time “is this a joke?” A literal newborn baby can beat commander yamark with a cheese stick, blaze phoenix stage has annoying donut mini bosses and their a gift from hell, most importantly what was capcom thinking, they must’ve had Counciling between shifts, at least I hope, anyway if your a diehard fan like me then play it with caution, if not just forget about it completely
O jogo é muito bom, consegue melhorar muitos erros que tinham no X5, a trilha sonora e o level desing são ótimos também, acho q o último jogo bom da serie X.
Probably the best out of all the mega man x games .. any body that says otherwise just **** in the mega man x games .. with increased enemies and increased difficulty a lot of people will get frustrated .. but for true mega man fans know this is the best out of all them
Really underrated game. Unlike X5, this game is actually challenging, and quite fun at times. Some of the stages are putrid *BH, IM specifically*, but there are underrated gems. CY stage looks inspired and the enemy designs look fantastic. RTs level is annoying with the light effect, but really well designed without it, I like the rain mechanic. SS is really short, like, they could’ve spent more time on this level. The gate stages are quite BS at times, but they are doable. X has new armor, the blade armor is decent, and shadow is hella fun, until u can’t use it in the gate stages for some reason.... overall I really like this game, shame it’s put down like this
Weird, but still the Mega man that we enjoy and hope too see to come in the next couple years, the Japanese translation feels awkward, and do not feel appealing for an already known franchise. But thats not a flaw, the only flaw was the level design and little annoying trends.
Mega Man X6 walks the fine line of awful game design with annoying mechanics that just confuses me how much playtesting this game actually got. It's plagued with poorly design mini bosses, levels that last too long or not enough, and never really explains it's new mechanics well enough to take advantage of it. There is some fun to be had with the games weapons, part system, and some of it's maverick bosses, but it never lasts long enough to jusify replaying this game. If this game took longer to cook than it likely have been one of the best X games out there, but unforunately we got a riddled mess that really isn't worth playing, let alone beating.
The worst thing that can happen in a platformer, is when the developers cannot tell the difference between challenging, and cheap, Mega Man X6 falls into the latter with level design filled with obstacles that are extremely difficult to dodge, and they're usually instant kills as well. The control is the same as previous games but the graphics, while visually similar to X5, are significantly lower quality. The story is, to put it simply, stupid, Zero died in X5, and it was something that had to happen to restore the balance, apparently, in this game, Zero apparently just hid himself away while he repaired himself, which is stupid. As for the Mavericks, well, you should always start with Commander Yammark who is extremely easy with any character, and his stage is rather easy, but going after any other maverick first is a really bad idea, because they can either destroy you like nothing (Infinity Majinion), or their stage is ridiculously hard and/or tedious (Blaze Heatnix). And then there's the nightmare system, which was made for a nice replay factor, but instead, it makes the game random everytime you play it, you never know how the game will be because one stage that was fairly nice the first time, could be either pitch black, full of annoying blocks, or could make you go to random rooms that you may not want to go to everytime you replay the game, meaning there's no way to plan how to play a stage because it could change up on you at any moment, not to mention the damn nightmare enemies that will kill the reploids forever, even if they had a part that you may need, needless to say, it's not fun.
SummaryIt's been three weeks since Earth's near collision with the space colony Eurasia. The disaster was averted by Zero's heroics. Now, on a bruised and battered planet, tales of rampagning reploids are surfacing. It's up to Mega Man X to investigate these mysteries but it's not going to be easy. Mega Man X must battle through a maze of level...
