  1. While vehicular combat with Star Wars characters may sound cool, you'll be hard-pressed to get much enjoyment out of this game.
  2. Simply speaking, graphics were better than I had expected, sound was very disappointing, and gameplay was solid.

Demolition is a very well-done spiritual successor to the first "Vigilante 8," though, fixing many of the problems with "Second Offense," and the snowspeeder is an absolute treat to drive.
  4. Let's just hope that everyone goes back to the drawing board on PlayStation 2, and bring to the fans the ultimate and ORIGINAL "SW" experience they were denied on the 32-bit era.
  5. If you love vehicular combat or Star Wars, give Demolition a rent. Otherwise, scrape this mynock off the hull of your freighter.
  6. It's nothing that we haven't seen before in some regard, but its variations on the established theme make the experience at least somewhat different from the rest.
  7. I liked this game simply because it's Star Wars, but also because it's a fun, if basic, combat title.
  8. A mostly retrograde move -- less impressive in almost every aspect than the gems that inspired it. It's by no means the worst game we've played, but only the most rabid of Star Wars fans (of which there are plenty) should take this one for a spin... hover... whatever.
  9. And it is fun, for a while, at least until you discover the unbalanced gameplay and learn to beat your opponents into submission with just a few hits.

Started as a cool idea, but its flashes of quality are too short to sustain long term interest.
  11. Blowing stuff up in Demolition is definitely fun in all its Star Wars glory, but the more you play, the more you'll notice the imbalance in gameplay.
