  1. If you are a hard core gamer, but a lousy button masher (no-not an oxymoron) you will have a sucky time. That's as fair as I can be as non-masher.
  2. This is knuckle-busting controller-breaking button-mashing action all the way, and it still works as well as ever.
  3. The only way I can recommend this game is if you have a bunch of friends to play against head-to-head.
  4. 60
It's not a gold medal winner, but it finishes the PlayStation invitational with a bronze.
  5. If you buy into the whole button-mashing mentality of track and field games, you'll find that Sydney 2000 turns in a solid, finger-numbing performance.
  6. The latest in button-mashing, a genre that lost its excitement eons ago.
  7. 50
For those of you with friends that also like this type of game, it supports multiplayer play for up to eight people. Just don't ask me to be one of them.
  8. Pressing alternating buttons as quickly as possible is only challenging (and fun) for so long, but with the exception of a few events, that's all this game is.
  9. Apart from the motion capture and the commentary there are very few redeeming qualities of Sydney 2000, and it only serves to continue the tradition of bad Olympic Video Games.
  10. Playing Sydney 2000 is going through rote finger tapping or timing exercises that will quickly get boring.
