100This one has it all -- an innovative combat interface, a sweeping story and some of the most gorgeous graphics seen in a PSX RPG. Quite simply, it's a must-buy for any console RPG fanatic.
-
100Its powerful story, great cast of characters, gorgeous graphics, and one of the most inventive battle systems in a long time all work together to create an instant classic.
-
97To each his own opinion but for this one reviewer Legend of Dragoon is truly legendary.
-
A fifty+ hour game, beautiful sound and graphics, and an interactive fighting system all wrapped in one great experience.
-
RPG fans may find this one a little boring, however novices to the genre may be captivated by the lush graphics and simplistic gameplay.
-
70It never seems to quite grow the wings that would let it take off and soar like its other four-disk brethren.
-
65If I never again see a story that contains color-coded heroes, it will be too soon.
-
64Borrows too heavily from other games and lacks that "hook" to make it worth dealing with excessive defending, a thin story you'd expect to see on Power Rangers, and aural competence.
-
When all is said and done, The LoD is like your typical one-night stand: it's OK for a quick fix but it's nothing that will get you emotionally involved.
-
60It's an RPG, and it's almost indistinguishable from every other RPG on the market. If you like them, you'll like this -- it's big, it's pretty, it's Final Fantasy with a different name.
-
50All I can think about is its similarity to FF7, and how stale and unoriginal the whole experience is. This game is such a rip-off of Square's FF7 that I can't believe Sony hasn't been taken to court for copyright infringement.
-
Despite the hype, Legend of Dragoon is a soulless creature, a subpar game held aloft by deceptive marketing. Don't trust it.

ShaneW.10This game was a perfect example of a RPG game. This one was made for the ages.
