  1. This one has it all -- an innovative combat interface, a sweeping story and some of the most gorgeous graphics seen in a PSX RPG. Quite simply, it's a must-buy for any console RPG fanatic.
  2. 100
Its powerful story, great cast of characters, gorgeous graphics, and one of the most inventive battle systems in a long time all work together to create an instant classic.
  3. To each his own opinion but for this one reviewer Legend of Dragoon is truly legendary.
  4. A fifty+ hour game, beautiful sound and graphics, and an interactive fighting system all wrapped in one great experience.
  5. RPG fans may find this one a little boring, however novices to the genre may be captivated by the lush graphics and simplistic gameplay.
  6. 70
It never seems to quite grow the wings that would let it take off and soar like its other four-disk brethren.
  7. If I never again see a story that contains color-coded heroes, it will be too soon.
  8. Borrows too heavily from other games and lacks that "hook" to make it worth dealing with excessive defending, a thin story you'd expect to see on Power Rangers, and aural competence.
  9. When all is said and done, The LoD is like your typical one-night stand: it's OK for a quick fix but it's nothing that will get you emotionally involved.
  10. 60
It's an RPG, and it's almost indistinguishable from every other RPG on the market. If you like them, you'll like this -- it's big, it's pretty, it's Final Fantasy with a different name.
  11. All I can think about is its similarity to FF7, and how stale and unoriginal the whole experience is. This game is such a rip-off of Square's FF7 that I can't believe Sony hasn't been taken to court for copyright infringement.
  12. Despite the hype, Legend of Dragoon is a soulless creature, a subpar game held aloft by deceptive marketing. Don't trust it.

Simply put thee best RPG ever to be put on this earth. The graphics are revolutionary for its time and the addition system made the turn based combat system that much more interactive. NEEDS a sequel. Full Review »

This is the best RPG I have ever played. Few come close, but none can top the overall atmosphere and beauty this game has captured. The combat is amazing. Additions and dragoon transformations give the player a challenge while also being incredibly fun, addictive and interactive. The graphics for it being a Playstation 1 game are simply astounding! This is my personal favorite game and a must play for any RPG enthusiast. Full Review »
