  1. I have yet to notice any pop-up or draw-in in the game. The developers did a tremendous job of hiding these artifacts behind tunnels and turns such that once you make a curve or pop over a hill the images flow naturally.
  2. Daily Radar
By combining that ease of entry with excellent controls and just the right amount of innovation, this game marks one of the PSOne's sunnier last days.
  3. The controls take some getting used to and the AI can be infuriating, but, it's still an insanely addictive game. It's one of those titles that'll have you storming out of the room swearing that you'll never play it again, only to find yourself back in front of the screen, Dual Shock in hand, half an hour later.
  4. Spank!
The Stunt mode in particular is well worth a look. Not huge, it's nevertheless worth the price of admission alone.
  5. Solid game but the lack of a competition keeps the excitement factor pretty low.
  6. Long on ideas but well short on design and execution -- a game that for the most part looks as good as originally promised, but with some shoddy controls that almost ruin the experience.
  7. Vanishing Point suffers from fatal conceptual flaws. Complete reliance on unlockable features, limited choices of starting vehicles and tracks, and staggered opponent start times have taken what could have been a good game and ruined it.
