If building the Seven Wonders of the World was this easy, I wonder why there weren’t a lot more of them.
-
There are no frills here, and the game is not particularly good; however, there is some entertainment value, and this kind of puzzler has broad appeal.
-
49Unfortunately, extremely shallow and simplistic play without the tiniest hit of challenge really makes this a weak pretender to "Bejeweled"'s throne.
-
46I can only recommend 7 Wonders of the Ancient World for those hardcore and dedicate PSP puzzle gamers looking for something new. Even then you will probably be disappointed after a few minutes of playing the game.
-
50The poor level-completion dynamic mixed with the small playing area, and what sounds like the score from a rejected Bollywood musical don’t offer enough to keep you playing in extended bursts. The game is fun for as long as it lasts, which sadly, isn’t very long at all.
-
Above average, 7 Wonders is worth picking up if you enjoy the Bejeweled style of gaming.
-
56A competent clone of a competent "Bejeweled" clone that does little to set itself apart.
-
I hate to mention it again, but "Puzzle Quest" flat-out did the match-three concept better. 7 Wonders is a poor, lifeless "Bejeweled" clone with far, far better competition on the PSP.
-
50Even value-priced at $20, 7 Wonders feels incomplete, aping the basic aspects of Bejeweled and bringing nothing more of substance to the party.
-
40Forget 7 Wonders. Really, just forget it.
