Great game, Alot of personality in the characters, they are funny, silly, sad, and angry, which then makes you relate, understand, and love the characters more which gives you a reason to want to fight with them, unlike other fighting games, this game you get to know these characters which gives the game itself alot more likability. Its also very funny and packed with alot of internet memes like "these are relevant to my interests or over 9000" definatly the american translator's doing. Now you can take it with you on the go, which makes this superior to the ps3 except for the fact that you cannot fight people online, and the computers arent really powerful on "hell" which then devoids all challenge. But overall its a great game that teaches begginers and has a great variety. Expand

  1. You've never player BlazBlue before? Then you are in for a shock. The action is fast and furious and the screen seems to contain more meters and gauges than a physics laboratory. Luckily, the game contains one of the best tutorials we've ever seen in a fighting game. [January 2012, p.83]
  2. This solid scrapper is let down by jagged edges around each character, vexing loading times and poor sound quality. [Christmas 2011, p.115]

As it stands though, this is a very accomplished fighter that offers well executed gameplay and some enjoyable modes.
