  • Summary: Originally released for iPhone, Blimp: The Flying Adventures puts the player in the shoes of a war veteran Zed Pelin, who has to once more get his hands dirty when a malevolent empire attacks a small, independent planet.

The player must help the resistance movement by transporting passen
gers and goods, placing bombs, protecting valuable targets and, of course, decimating the enemy forces using the blimp’s airstrike attack.
The game contains 20 beautiful, hand-drawn, levels scattered around dark forests, mines, red rocks and snowy mountains. This, together with an original soundtrack and blimp’s innovative flight mechanics, create an experience like no other.

This version of Blimp: The Flying Adventures will contain several graphical enhancements, new game modes and Grip Games’ unique Global Leaderboards feature.

Blimp: The Flying Adventures is a kind of its own: It's an innovative and inspired port form the iPhone version in combination with elements of UGH! and Crazy Taxi. A must-have for every Minis-fan!

It's a shame that Blimp: The Flying Adventures has flown under the radar on iOS systems, but maybe an appearance on the PSN might be what it needs to get its gaming wings. Addictive, challenging and very easy on the eyes, Grip Games has crafted a PS Mini experience that deserves a spin. Just, you know, go easy on the gas.

Blimp: The Flying Adventures is certainly an interesting title. Those who enjoy this type of 'against the clock' game will most definitely find something to like here, and combining that with a lovely hand drawn art style, and the intricacies of the Blimp makes this worth a look.

The sad thing is, there's nothing wrong with Blimp: The Flying Adventures. There are better PSN titles out there for the price. Do yourself a favour and pick it up on the iPhone for a dollar.
