  1. A clutch of the titles have stood the test of time surprisingly well, but most — particularly the side- or vertical-scrolling shoot-em- ups — are so far past their prime it’s laughable, and many are very similar.

Don't be fooled by the nostalgia factor - these games are tired and outdated. That you can put them in your pocket and play them anywhere doesn't actually make them any more fun. [June 2006, p.80]

Great compilation for nostalgic gamers. My favourite games are: 1941, Vart, Three Wonders and Mega Twins, Magic Sword. With other interesting Great compilation for nostalgic gamers. My favourite games are: 1941, Vart, Three Wonders and Mega Twins, Magic Sword. With other interesting games: Black Tiger, Captain Commando, Bionic Comando, Last Duel, Strider, Forgotten Worlds, Legendary Wings, SideBd Arms. Last Duel. And some more modern: Other good games are Blck Tigerm Strider, Block Block is a disappointing Arkanoid clone, because of VERY difficult control. Street Fighter can't compete with old nor actual fightes , so it is a filler. Avengers, Quiz and Dragons The Speed Rumbler, Section Z didn't caugh me. More varied than CCC Reloaded, Remixed have some games more modern, some worse. Full Review »

Bug kudos to Capcom for making this a very different collection than the original, console Capcom Classics. Of course, that does mean quite a Bug kudos to Capcom for making this a very different collection than the original, console Capcom Classics. Of course, that does mean quite a bit of compromise. For one thing, this doesn't include the three excellent ports of Street Fighter 2 from the console version. Instead, Collections Remixed has the original Street Fighter which, while a great novelty for people like me who love the SF fanchise but have never been able to play the first game, is a very clunky game that I can't see playing too much of. Other than that, though, this collection is probably the best classics collection on PSP so far. Sure, some of the games may be a little underwhelming, but then you boot up Captain Commando (still the best beat em up after all these year, IMO), Strider, Street Rumbler, 1941, or Final Fight and play first hand the very definitions of Classic. And unlike the rather shoddy Midway Arcade Extended Play, every single game here allows you the option of three different screen sizes, so you aren't stuck if you feel the graphics are too stretched out or too small. Crazy good PSP action! Full Review »

Sweeeet!!! (^-^) All the games were kewl, except Avengers and Street Fighter. I especially liked 1941 (I think its better than 1942 series,Sweeeet!!! (^-^) All the games were kewl, except Avengers and Street Fighter. I especially liked 1941 (I think its better than 1942 series, but shorter) and Final Fight (seems more true to the arcade and much better and complete than the Gameboy Advance version). It also included one of my favorite games, Sidearms (well time to pack up the ol' Turbo grafx). =P (Capcom Collection Remix 2??? Please , Please, Please!!!) Full Review »
