  1. Like all the best games, there's a whole world of subtle strategy beneath this simple concept and the Street Fighter branding is cleverly used.
  2. I consider this title a must-have for all nostalgic people that love puzzle games and like to take them on-the-go. Just don't buy it for Block Block.
  3. "Super Puzzle Fighter II Turbo," with its various modes and options, makes this well worth the $30. Challenging a friend in AdHoc never gets old, whether shooting bubbles into nothingness or dropping mad block combos to clear the screen in a devastating manner.
  4. We'd rather have, you know, access to a full emulator, but puzzle geeks can't deny the quality or value of Capcom Puzzle World. More classic coin-op compilations like this one, please.

Capcom Puzzle World won't win any awards in the long-term, and many of you might be annoyed by the presence of Block Block. But the game still has many puzzle moments worth enduring, especially if you're a hardcore fan of Super Puzzle Fighter and the Buster Bros. games.
  6. AceGamez
Block Block may be shaky, but the three Buster Bros. titles are more than solid and Super Puzzle Fighter II Turbo is a prime cut of grade-A puzzle action.
  7. Though not as expansive a collection as the title might suggest, Capcom Puzzle World is worth the price of admission for "Super Puzzle Fighter II Turbo" alone.
  8. Puzzle Fighter alone might make this worth the $30 for a lot of folks.
  9. It’s quality and not quantity that makes Capcom Puzzle World such a delightful package that should please puzzle fans looking for more puzzle goodness for their PSP.
  10. PSM Magazine
Classic brick-busting and baloon-popping of yore comprise Capcom Puzzle World, with the biggest draw being Super Puzzle Fighter II Turbo. [Apr 2007, p.87]
  11. 70
Get a friend with a PSP to pick the game up as well and you'll see why "Super Puzzle Fighter II" destroyed lives when it released originally.
  12. If you're new to the land of Puzzle Fighter (or Buster Bros.) it's worth checking out, and if you've played them all before back in the day it's still worth checking out. As long as you enjoy the old-school puzzle games, you'll enjoy this one.
  13. For puzzle game addicts, this is going to be a necessary purchase, but wait for the price to drop significantly.
  14. 69
This one's for Super Puzzle Fighter freaks only.
  15. For £20 we’d hope for a few more games, with greater variety and a slightly slicker presentation. Definitely one for Capcom nostalgists.
  16. If puzzle games are your thing, this collection is worth it just for Super Puzzle Fighter II Turbo. It’s an excellent variation on a proven formula.
  17. Games Master UK
Not every game on this disc is a classic. [May 2007, p.85]
  18. 65
If it's your only option, then Capcom Puzzle World provides one of the most comprehensive Super Puzzle Fighter II experiences for you.
  19. 60
And unless you're a SPF fanatic, we'd advise waiting for the inevitable download to be offered, as Capcom Puzzle World isn't a compelling enough product to trade for thirty hard-won dollars.
  20. Frequent freeze-ups and faulty controls hurt this otherwise decent package, which can only be recommended to the most hardcore "Puzzle Fighter" fanatics.
  21. 60
The new modes and wireless multiplayer are as sexy as Chun-Li's squatty, super-deformed legs, but deciding whether to drop $30 for an old-ass puzzle game and a few rejects may be a losing fight.
  22. Hardcore Gamer
Overall, this is more of a game to snag out of the bargain bin than buy new. [Apr 2007, p.52]
  23. While Capcom Puzzle World doesn't deliver as much gaming goodness as it could, the great implementation of Super Puzzle Fighter II Turbo on the PSP is really worth the price of admission.
  24. 55
While this version of "Super Puzzle Fighter II" is available for the first time on North American shores, it simply isn't enough to make you want to drop the dough to pick it up.
  25. 50
As a stand-alone release, Puzzle World basically consists of one very good (though very dated) puzzler and a handful of boring filler material.
  26. Playstation Official Magazine UK
Sadly the world has moved on, and so have our gaming tastes. [Mar 2007, p.120]
  27. 50
It's all well and good banging on about games that defined childhood gaming experiences, but essentially what does an 80s kid from North London know when he's horribly sunburnt and tipsy from a few sips of Sangria? That was then, and sadly for Capcom Puzzle World, this is now.
  28. Pure Magazine UK
A collection that could have been killer is let-down by just too much filler. [Mar 2007, p.80]
  29. Official Playstation 2 Magazine UK
"Super Puzzle Fighter II" may still be capable of stealing men's souls, but the rest of CPW is now no more than the stuff of freebie Flash game fodder. Approach with caution. [Mar 2007, p.109]
  30. 40
Whilst "Super Puzzle Fighter" is still a great game, the poor multiplayer options mean that you are better off with one of versions previously released on the home consoles, or one of HD versions making their way to PS3, 360 and PC later this year.
  31. PSM3 Magazine UK
Enjoy "Super Puzzle Fighter" - it's ace. Just a shame the rest of CPW is such balls. [Mar 2007, p.78]
