Like all the best games, there's a whole world of subtle strategy beneath this simple concept and the Street Fighter branding is cleverly used.
"Super Puzzle Fighter II Turbo," with its various modes and options, makes this well worth the $30. Challenging a friend in AdHoc never gets old, whether shooting bubbles into nothingness or dropping mad block combos to clear the screen in a devastating manner.
For puzzle game addicts, this is going to be a necessary purchase, but wait for the price to drop significantly.
If puzzle games are your thing, this collection is worth it just for Super Puzzle Fighter II Turbo. It’s an excellent variation on a proven formula.
Frequent freeze-ups and faulty controls hurt this otherwise decent package, which can only be recommended to the most hardcore "Puzzle Fighter" fanatics.
