  • Summary: Fifteen super-elite students have been locked in the school and they are forced to live in this isolated community. There is a special rule for the students: only murderers can graduate from the school, and this rule turns the prosperous school into the despairing place. The protagonist, however, does not follow this rule. He investigates murders instead of murdering somebody and tries to figure out a way to escape from the school. Expand

This game is unfortunately only available in Japanese, but a group of fans have translated it into English using some technical no-how. You can find their site and how to install it on http://danganronpa.wordpress.com/2012/10/06/danganronpa-translation-announced/ This game is much in the style of visual novels, or the Phoenix Wright games. Most of the "gameplay" is just plain talking to characters and going around looking at objects. The real gameplay is during Class Trials where the action parts are. The main attraction is the story-line (for me at least), the music (which is GODLY), and the unique experience in general. I would definitely recommend it to anyone who enjoys logic based puzzles and a goddamn good story. Just don't let the pink blood get to you to much. Expand
