The overall presentation was top notch, the planetary soundtrack and loot were kick ass and the selection of quests was inspiring. Also, the diversity of creatures was very impressive.
  2. It’s a purely hack-and-slash affair with all the right elements that make this game an enjoyable experience for fans of the genre. While some fetch quests are a little dull side, it’s hard to ignore the game’s originality and fun hack-and-slash action.
  3. Skepticism would normally be justified regarding an RPG on the PSP, but Throne of Agony is amazing.
  4. Dungeon Siege starts out exceptionally well but really does fail to build in its promising foundations as the game progresses, and this lack of development means that as you approach the eight hour mark (the whole game works out at somewhere between 12 and 15 hours), you'll really feel like you've seen everything on offer.

Best hack-n-slash on PSP right now. It can easily beat any PS2 games in the same genre.

This is the best hack and slash game for PSP, in many ways far superior of Untold Legends, mainly in the camera perspective and combat dinamics, characters and a huge weapoonary. The climax is the identical to Dungeon Siege II PC version. Ballanced difficulty and immersive stages, Throne of Agony is the final must for hack slash lovers PSP owners. Expand

Superb graphics, very nice soundtrack and an incredible game world (landscape, characters, story, lots of items to explore/read) make it one of the best games on PSP. I agree that load-times are frustrating and quite demanding on the battery pack. Expand

Load times for entering the world map and areas are averaging 20-35 seconds. This includes entering towns, which you are going to do quite a bit to sell off all that loot. Worse, we're getting on average 10-20 second load times for MENU screens. Nothing says fun like waiting, and waiting some more, for your overhead map to appear so you can figure out where to go.
