Summary Back to top
Every Extend Extra is a unique "puzzle shooter," brought to the PSP system by the creators of the critically acclaimed hit Lumines. Every Extend Extra delivers an addictive gameplay experience through a fusion of arcade-style shooting action, cutting-edge music and visuals. Players evade enemy attacks and then use perfect timing to blast their foes in a colorful display of explosive chain reactions. The bigger the chain reaction results in the higher the score and the larger the rewards. [BVG]

The game also has a high level of replayability because everytime you play any of the stages, the shapes and enemies never come out in the same sequence or places. Plus, you can always try to rack up your top score and get a better rank in each of the stages. A must have PSP title with a fun presentation. [JPN Import]

WHAM! Gaming
But it’s also immensely fun and satisfying to blow yourself and numerous other things on the screen up "real good", over and over again. Visually, Every Extend Extra (got to love those Engrish translations) is gorgeous, mesmerizing and quite varied.

Game Chronicles
A totally original concept and a fresh approach to the growing population of puzzle games.

Deeko
It's not often you'll find a puzzle game that manages to be so eclectic and functional, but Every Extend Extra pulls off every facet without a hitch. The game may only feature nine stages, but it's so much fun that you'll more than likely play it over and over again. The controls are fantastic and the audio / visual presentation is over the top.

Gaming Age
Much like an old arcade title, most of the appeal relies wholly upon how much a player puts into it, the dearth of new content not necessarily a deal-breaker. Still, the small number of stages limits the game's overall appeal, meaning only the dedicated will find long-term enjoyment.

Official U.S. Playstation Magazine
Some will find this as addictive as "Lumines", but due to the increased difficulty level and lack of accessibility, Every Extend Extra lacks the broad appeal of Q Entertainment's prior titles. [Nov, 2006, p.124]

Game Revolution
Every Extend Extra, a game that could have filled the PSP’s need for fun and simple arcade action, blows itself up in a miniscule pop of disappointment.

I can't believe the media gave more score to the Xbox version than to this one wich is absolutely better. They obviously didn't played both games...
