  • Summary: [PSP Minis] Experience a new type of strategy and arcade game.
Score distribution:
  1. Positive: 3 out of 13
  2. Negative: 2 out of 13
  1. Fortix introduces you to the world of tactics and you really learn something you could maybe use in the future. If the graphics would be more detailed, it would be even better.
  2. Fortix is a strategic, mind bending puzzle/action game which will have you hooked from the moment you turn it on, it’s so very addictive and has that one more go appeal.
  3. It's a clever twist on an old standard but the cannons prove to be an irritation rather than a true challenge - their fast, ruthless volleys reducing too much of the game to a painstaking crawl, claiming a few pixels of space at a time as you inch towards a vital catapult. Fun, then, but in need of balancing.
  4. Fortix is driven by a sound gaming mechanic that’s almost difficult to criticise. “What you see is what you get”, “Does exactly as it says on the tin” etc, what is easy to criticise though, is the difficulty that gets much too intense for a game designed for 5 – minute bursts, as well as a visual presentation that’s just downright ugly. Combine this with a total lack of clever features and we have a game that’s just a borderline stinker.
