  • Summary: LEGO Indiana Jones: The Original Adventures takes the fun and creative construction of LEGO and combines it with the wits, daring and non-stop action from the original cinematic adventures that enthralled audiences everywhere (Indiana Jones and the Raiders of the Lost Ark, Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom and Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade). With a unique tongue-in-cheek take on the original adventures, LEGO Indiana Jones follows Dr. Jones escapades through the jungles of South America to the mountaintops of India. Fans can build, battle and brawl their way through their favorite cinematic moments, from Indy's entanglements with snakes to his dashing boulder run. Pop culture's most iconic archeologist whips through all the classic moments with the help of a host of supporting characters including Marion Ravenwood and Short Round. Players can also mix and match the body parts of more than 60 playable characters to create new heroes just as they could in the LEGO Star Wars games. [LucasArts] Expand

  1. The addictive gameplay, well-rendered graphics (even on an aged system), easy control scheme, innovative cooperative features and tons of replay value make for a winner.
  2. 80
Overall, if you like the Indiana Jones flicks or have a flavor for something Lego (and can't wait for Lego Batman), this trilogy will hit the spot. It's fun for all ages, even if it doesn't do anything incredibly different over the Star Wars games.
  3. 80
Those who have mastered the LEGO Star Wars titles will discover that this game has a much greater emphasis on puzzle-solving than its spiritual predecessors had.
  4. With so many tasks to complete in Story Mode and things to do while free roaming in Barnett College, the game has plenty of replay value.
  5. Sloppy controls and a lack of cooperative play hurt Indiana Jones' first Lego adventure, but the humor and puzzles still make this worth playing.
  6. X marks the spot for this portable treasure that loses a little lustre with long loading times, but shines with great levels and plenty of replay value.
  7. For a system that is criticised for the lack of games, you could do a lot worse that this.

Great gameplay and visuals, and decent levels. It was short but not as short as Lego Star Wars. I also like that there are a lot of characters to play as. It is faithful to the story of the Indiana Jones movies. Expand
