  1. Capcom goes above and beyond with the new Vile mode, an additional difficulty level, remixed music, a thirty minute animation, and the Mega Man Powered Up demo. Even better, Mega Man Maverick Hunter X carries an MSRP of $29.99, $10 less than most new PSP games.
  2. Maverick Hunter X is my favourite PSP game thus far and one of the very best games I've ever had the pleasure of playing.

The voice acting seems a bit too much for the game but suits the game well and adds some character.

It's one of the best games in the series - and now one of the best games on the PSP - and this remake has been done with so much love and care that you'll be unable to turn it away.
  5. With wonderful aesthetics, some cool extra features, a budget price-point ($30 or so), and short loading times, Maverick Hunter X is one of the most pleasant experiences on the PSP.
  6. 90
It's easily one of the best games available for the PSP, and it might even earn the Blue Bomber a few more fans.
  7. This is where the PSP begins to run away from the DS. Yeah, I said it. [Feb 2006, p.60]

The graphical touches are nice, and everything runs smoothly but the best part is that some of the hidden items have had their locations switched up so veteran players will have some fresh secrets to discover. This is simple, fun, retro goodness and is a must play for any fans of the Mega Man franchise. Full Review »

Its not quite as good as others in the series. It suffers from enemies that take too many hits. The stages aren't very long. The bosses are too hard. You can latch onto walls to make the platforming a little easier. This doesn't make the gameplay good. I think its mostly the level design and enemies that need some balance. It just feels empty playing this type of game. Full Review »
