Second only to "Syphon Filter" in the handheld action stakes, Miami Vice really is a most pleasant surprise. Attractive, enjoyable, with a raft of extras, this is just what a movie license should be. [Issue 144, p.82]

We're not in movie licence disaster territory here by any means, but things could have been a lot better and definitely should have been a wee bit longer.
The shoot-'em-up action is well designed, but there's just not enough variety to sustain your interest.
