The Good: Graphics, Creation Mode, Dynasty Mode, Difficulty Settings, File Sizes, Loading Time The Bad: No In-Game Stats, No In-Game Line Changes, No In-Game Goalie Changes The Verdict: By far the best portable hockey game.

User friendly gameplay. Dare I say, a better multiplayer experience than NBA live 07? Could very well be...

The best hockey game available for the PSP. It has all the features of its PS2 counterpart. The only downside, is the fact, that the menu screens take some time to load.

  1. Clunky settings options, graphical hang-ups, and occasional artificial intelligence fouls bring the game down a peg or two, but mostly this is good hockey that handles the portable translation well.

The controls are tight, especially shooting. We would like to see the checking system tweaked a bit so players aren't so magnetic. Great puck physics make for exciting, organic goal scoring.
  3. One of the most addictive portable NHL games you’ll buy this year. No offense to the wonderful Gretzky games, but when it comes to a truly deep NHL hockey experience this is the series you will want to own.
