known as The Ninjamurai), a young warrior who is the offspring of a
union between a Female Ninja and a male Samurai. Rejected by both
sides and looked down on as a kind of a mongrel breed, Takezou can be
    impulsive due
to his age and often has a cocky attitude. He does
however have a good heart and a desire to help others. He is the most
skilled warrior in his mountain shrine where he was raised by a man
named Oro Sensei. After many years of training, Takezou is tasked with

This game combines a new IP, nice graphics and cool, but difficult gameplay like „N+" for platform fans – hoping the sequel will have nicer animations and more story details.

In spite of its occasional frustrations, Ninjamurai is one of the most compelling PSP games released this year. The fact that it's a Minis game, at that price point, just make it all the more enticing.

The old school platforming and sometimes punishing checkpoint system won't appeal to everyone, but those that grew up on the platformers of the 16-bit era will be right at home, as will anyone looking to spend a little money to see how downloadable games have matured over the years.
  4. Aug 14, 2011
Overall, the game reflects its price instead of being better than it, making it a title that should be picked up by platforming fans and those hungry for a PSP game if they have some spare change lying around.
  5. Jul 29, 2011
There's a slight stickiness to your character's response time that makes all of Ninjamurai's other achievements irrelevant - jumping and slashing just don't feel good. [Sept 2011, p.111]
  6. Jul 11, 2011
Ninjamurai's sense of speed doesn't last long enough to get you through the waiting room at the doctor's office, nor does it compare to other offerings on the PSP Mini lineup.
  7. If I'd bought this for the Atari ST in 1989, I'd want my money back. [Sept 2011, p.107]
