Very fast-paced, very stylish, and with a ton of 'leet' content and delightfully overpowered weapons. It can get repetitive, but I've played it on and off for 5 playthroughs (omg!) and it's still fun to find new ultra-rare loot and test it out on hordes of enemies.

Besides, the art style and the music is pretty awesome.… Expand

So some of the common critics such as a weak story line or repetitiveness are a little rash. This is a great game to pick up, play through a few stages, and turned off. The storyline is minimal, but the combat and customization of your mech are detailed....but not so much as to overwhelm you. Another reviewer mentioned that this game's reviews seem to forget that the PSP is a portable system, not a console where you sit at home and play for hours and hour. That's more true than ever here, with a game that I find myself interested in playing for that one or two hours a day while commuting, and which I can leave off and come back to pretty easily. Avoid the first one, though. The sequel is much better.… Expand

This game is one of my favourites on psp. it is a pick up and play game, to have a quick blast on and then put down. its simplicity is its This game is one of my favourites on psp. it is a pick up and play game, to have a quick blast on and then put down. its simplicity is its strong point. i also love the customisation options. such as being able to change the colour of the character. the combat is also unique and interesting-- this game has some of the coolest characters ever!!! overall this is a fantastic game to play while travelling for short periods of time. it has lots of neat touches that add to a well rounded package of a game. ignore the very negative reviews, they forget this is a potable game its not meant to have a stupidly complex story........ its meant to entertain.- which is why this game is just right for your psp.… Expand

The art direction is above average, and the game is made to be played more than once, as it unlocks new content. I got this for $7, and I'm glad I didn't miss the chance to enjoy this game.… Expand

I'm played this game almost non stop right to the end of it, I'm was caught just after I'm picked up and equipped some I'm played this game almost non stop right to the end of it, I'm was caught just after I'm picked up and equipped some weapons, the chance to variations of the character are so many, the hunger to get a more powerfully and cool looking character makes me almost complete focused on that goal, that is one of the virtues of the game, so I´m never matter about the tendency to monotony of each level or enemies, is not that bad be cause you are in a tower and not in Chile were you find both desert and glaciers, It was short but fun to play any way, and some of the critics are to out of balance.… Expand

The main focus of this game, and the reason i like it is because there are so many different varieties of equipment and that they get stronger as you use them, which builds a desire to keep playing. The storyline wasn't fantastic, but you also have to give the game points for 4 player game sharing. My friends and I play it together all the time and we all think it's great- but not fantastic.… Expand
