  1. While the story and settings are the same as on the PS3, the levels and the way the apprentice develops are completely different. [Oct 2008, p.76]

Star Wars: The Force Unleashed is an incredibly original and rich experience, and may be the best handheld Star Wars game to date!
  3. 75
Uninspired level design and some tedious enemy battles mar an experience that gives you power over the Force like we've never really seen before. While it's far from perfect, Star Wars fans will find that it's worth playing through simply for its story and the ability to use the Force in fairly awesome ways.
  4. Force Unleashed PSP is worthy of attention, due to the gripping storyline, fun playability – although with its flaws – and good customization options.
  5. An entertaining new chapter in the LucasArts saga, but one that could have used a bit more time to fix silly technical flaws before being unleashed.
  6. The wonky camera gets in the way, but extra modes make this a Force-powered adventure worth taking.
  7. Star Wars: The Force Unleashed gives us the opportunity to go over to the dark side in order to enjoy addictive, durable and fun gameplay. It's also a bit monotonous, but nothing out of the ordinary problems of a game which has a very decent PSP version.
  8. 70
Force Unleashed may not be the mind-blowingly awesome "Star Wars" game that it was hyped to be, but thanks to some cool play mechanics, a great story, and a couple fun extras, it's still a fun (if flawed) ride.
  9. 60
With a little bit more development time, The Force Unleashed could've been a monstrous hit, even bigger than the Death Star. However, it's good for lightsaber nuts looking to play something on the go.
  10. 42
Instead of providing a streamlined alternative to the more ambitious console iterations, the PSP version of Star Wars: The Force Unleashed is an abridged disappointment.
