  • Summary: Based on the 2007 live-action feature film, Transformers: The Game lets gamers control the outcome in the battle for Earth as they choose to protect it as Autobots or destroy it as Decepticons. Players experience the unstoppable power and massive scale of their favorite Robots in Disguise such as BumbleBee, Barricade and others. As the Transformers robot's war comes to Earth, gamers make the choice to join the Autobots in protecting our planet or to join the Decepticons in destroying it. With dual campaigns, the fate of the world is in players' hands. Instantly change from a larger than life robot to a high-powered vehicle such as a sports car, fighter jet or helicopter. Players crush, topple and wreck every object, including buildings and vehicles, in their path or use the objects as weapons. The PSP version features 20 playable Autobots and Decepticons from both the live-action film and previous generations that battle through an enhanced version of the film's storyline. Players can customize their character by choosing more than 10 different weapon types in both single and adhoc multiplayer gameplay. [Activision] Expand

  1. Transformers doesn't make any radical changes to the classic action game genre, but it does have likeable characters and top-notch production values, coupled with enjoyable gameplay.
  2. The PSP version was really a letdown. Aside from the counterintuitive controls, the backsliding graphics, and the very short play time, I would just say that I felt completely disappointed by my Transformers: The Game experience on my PSP.
  3. This is the epitome a game that was quickly thrown together with the most basic and juvenile concepts videogaming has.
  4. From the outdated graphics to lackluster gameplay, the game possesses more shortcomings than strengths, making it impossible to recommend to anyone but the Transformer faithful.

This game is pretty nice with some good actions. But the graphics are not good at all, but who cares on psp. A lot of characters to choose from in the multiplayer. Expand

Very flawed game! I am a huge transformers fan, and was expecting a much better experience than this. From the awful transformation effects to the completely sloppy handling (especially when in vehicle mode), this game is extremely disappointing. The single player mode gets repetitive and boring and it's not much to speak of graphically either. I can't wait for the day when a decent transformers game is made, we deserve it! Expand

SO unless your wearing an optimus prime helmet right now i recomend getting another game. Expand
